‘The Bachelorette’: This Contestant Competing for Hannah Brown’s Heart May Have a Girlfriend
Finding a good guy can be hard. Even when a huge network hand selects over 20 men that should be perfect for you, you still might find some duds. Newest Bachelorette Hannah Brown had to find this out the hard way.
On Monday, we will finally get to see Brown’s journey to finding true love.
The premiere night of The Bachelorette is usually a great one. The men tend to be on their best behaviors and do everything that they can to wow the lead. But, unfortunately, Brown did not receive the princess treatment that she may have hoped for on the first night, as it came out that one of her suitors may have already had a girlfriend.
Who has a girlfriend?
In the preview for the premiere episode of The Bachelorette, released by People, Brown is shown pulling Scott A. from the party.
“We need to talk,” she tells him while leading him away.
“You have a girlfriend,” Brown says to him. Scott doesn’t answer in the clip but just responds with a surprised look.
If Brown’s allegations are true, then it’s safe to say that her Bachelorette journey did not get off to a good start.
Have other men come on ‘The Bachelorette’ while in relationships?
This wouldn’t be the first time that a Bachelorette contestant came on the show while dating someone. On Rachel Lindsay’s season of the show, DeMario Jackson was famously called out for being in a relationship when his alleged girlfriend showed up to a group date.
“I saw that, um, the first couple of guys were brought on to meet you… and I saw one guy, up until hours before that he’d been my boyfriend of seven months,” the woman told Lindsay of the moment when she found out Jackson was on the show.
Lindsay ended up sending Jackson home over the situation.
Who is Scott A.?
So, who is this possible cheater?
Scott is a 28-year-old from Chicago, IL. Unfortunately, he has no social media (maybe to hide the fact that he has a girlfriend?)
Though Scott may be a cheater, the women on Facebook have certainly taken a liking to him. Since he was announced as one of Brown’s suitors, his picture on The Bachelorette Facebook page has received over 2,000 likes.
“Definitely the best looking in this group & I love his hair!” one user commented.
Another commenter said that she would give Scott her first impression rose.
“Scott would get my first rose,” the person wrote. “What a beautiful smile, why would someone so handsome have to go on this show to find true love?
Some even commented on whether or not they believed that Scott was a ladies man.
“He is cute and looks like a nice guy,” a user wrote. “Not a player….but we shall see!”
When does ‘The Bachelorette’premiere?
This cheating scandal may be bad for Brown but it certainly makes for good television. Brown’s season of The Bachelorette premieres on May 13th at 8 pm ET on ABC.
