‘The Bachelorette’: Tyler C. Is Happy To Talk To And Take Photos With Fans
Tyler Cameron was a fan-favorite on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. Though she awarded her final rose to controversial contestant Jed Wyatt, Brown and Cameron had a special connection throughout their time on the show.
It’s no secret that Brown called off her engagement to Wyatt after learning he came on the show with a girlfriend. And that, shortly after, she asked Cameron out for a drink on national TV.
Between getting photographed at Brown’s place in Los Angeles the morning after he came over for drinks and going on dates with supermodel Gigi Hadid, Cameron’s been making headlines.
Cameron says he’s still adjusting to this degree of attention but that he’s used to being in the spotlight for other reasons.
“It was crazy, [the finale] was wild last night. I don’t think it’s gotten too intense. I’m very thankful for football, and it’s kind of put me in the light before…not nearly as big as this light, but it’s kind of prepared me for what to expect and navigate through this,” he told Glamour in a recent interview.
Tyler C. loves his fans
The good news for fans is: Cameron is happy to talk to and take photos with Bachelor Nation.
“If I can take the time out of my day to take a picture with somebody and make their day a little better, I’ll do it every single time. When I was a little kid going to spring training baseball games, there was this Montreal Expos player named Brad Fullmer. He was my biggest superhero because after an inning he would flip me a baseball. That little moment in time, when he made that gesture, meant the world to me. So I try to reciprocate that with other people, even if it’s taking a picture or chatting with them for a couple minutes,” he said.
Tyler C.’s favorite compliment that he gets
Cameron went on to say that one of his favorite compliments that he gets is when mothers tell him that they want their sons to learn from his behavior on The Bachelorette.
“I think one of my favorite compliments I got was that a lot of moms come up to me and say they make their sons watch the show because of me. That means a lot. I just want to be a good example for my little brothers. How that translates to everyone else [is awesome]. I’m very grateful for how my parents raised me and the experience I’ve had in my life to lead me to where I am today,” he said.
