‘The Bachelorette’: Tyler C. Reveals How He Got Over His Breakup With Hannah Brown So Quickly
Tyler Cameron’s relationship with Hannah Brown got pretty intense on The Bachelorette. When Brown sent him home, he appeared heartbroken, as if he truly believed he was going to be proposing to Brown in Greece.
His proposal said it all:
“From the moment I met you, you captivated my soul. I always knew the man I wanted to be, and I knew I’d get there one day, but I didn’t know how. Then I met you, and I realized the man I was meant to be–it took you to push me to get there. I have grown so much emotionally and spiritually and am so madly in love. I know our love was slow to start, but it’s a light that will burn forever.”
But as Bachelor Nation remembers, after Brown broke off her engagement to Jed Wyatt, she asked Cameron out for a drink on national TV.
He obliged, happily, but shortly after the two met up, Cameron was seen out in New York City with Gigi Hadid, who he’s been dating ever since.
Tyler C. says he was ready to marry Hannah Brown
“Yeah, I was ready to,” he said. “Yeah, full-blown. That was tough, I mean it hurt. That was one of those tougher moments I’ve ever had.”
He was also asked how he recovered so quickly from the heartbreak.
Apparently, Cameron’s secret is keeping busy.
“Getting out of my first relationship, whenever I thought about it, I would hit up my friends and just keep myself busy. That’s why I had to get out of Jupiter and head to New York because New York keeps me so busy. So I just kept myself very busy and kind of put my nose to the grindstone and just started working and grindin’ and just kind of being around people helped me get through those things. I have great friends and they were always looking out for me,” he explained.
Tyler C. is keeping busy with modeling
Something that’s been keeping Cameron especially busy is his budding modeling career.
According to Cameron, the plan for him was to always move to New York after The Bachelorette to focus on modeling.
“Got the call [that he was going to be on The Bachelorette], was super hyped about it. But then I was up in New York after that just like three or four weeks doing a bunch of test shoots, trying to get my book built, and working with my agency up here, and so I was gonna move up here, whatever happened with the show,” he said. “Because houses are always gonna be built, renovated, there’s always gonna be opportunities there. But there’s a shelf life to modeling and these opportunities so I’m trying to run with it and see what it has to offer and I got some really cool things that are coming with modeling.”
