‘The Bachelorette’: Tyler C. Says There Are ‘No Hard Feelings’ Between Him And Hannah Brown

Hannah Brown‘s relationship with Tyler Cameron on The Bachelorette was a slow burn. She was skeptical of him for a good portion of filming. But he eventually won her over with his feminist rhetoric and smooth-talking.

What really put Cameron in Brown’s favor was their fantasy suite date. She told him she didn’t want to sleep with him, so the two spent the evening getting to know each other better.

“I think for a long time with Tyler I thought it was just physical. I put him in a box and was scared of him and thought it was just going to be physical with him. And then as we started having more one-on-ones together and time, I started realizing that it was more but he scared me a lot because I thought he was a f*ckboy. I did. And then it was like ‘Oh wait, maybe he’s not, maybe he’s not.’ Then after our fantasy suite, I was like ‘I cannot let this guy go.’ It just killed me that I felt that I had put up walls for so long,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

In the end, Brown gave her final rose to Jed Wyatt. But shortly after the two got engaged, Brown learned he had come on the show with a girlfriend waiting for him back home.

She felt betrayed and ended her engagement.

Hannah Brown asks Tyler Cameron out of a drink on national TV

Then, as Bachelor Nation will not soon forget, Brown asked Cameron out for a drink (as a “single girl”) during “After The Final Rose.” Cameron obliged, seemingly happily.

Shortly after the episode aired, Cameron was photographed leaving Brown’s apartment after their night of drinks at Brown’s place in Los Angeles. He had an overnight bag in his hand. Naturally, Bachelor Nation was hopeful the photos signaled the beginning of Cameron and Brown’s romantic relationship.

But two days later, Cameron was photographed out in New York with supermodel Gigi Hadid, and the two have been dating ever since.

According to Cameron, he’s content with how everything played out between him and Brown. He says there are “no hard feelings” between the two of them.

“She reached out to me when my dad was sick. That was super sweet of her. She’s a great person,” he recently said on the Bachelor Party podcast. “She’s super sweet and I hope nothing but the best for her. She’s going to crush Dancing With the Stars. She better go win that Mirrorball.”

How Hannah Brown feels about Tyler Cameron

Brown’s been nothing but cordial about Cameron in interviews, always saying she wishes him the best.

But in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bachelor In Paradise alum and the newly married Krystal Nielson says Brown was, obviously, hurt by Cameron’s quick pivot to Hadid.

Honest policy: I’m struggling. Life is so different. Since last August, I’ve been a pageant queen, a bachelor contestant, and the Bachelorette. I’ve been in love with multiple people, I got engaged, I broke off an engagement, and I shared it all with millions of people. My faith has been questioned by thousands who don’t know my heart, and my transparency with my decisions has labeled me promiscuous. Simultaneously, I’ve become a role model for young women and started bigger conversations around faith, and sex. // I’m living on my own for the first time and shuffling through this life of next steps with press, media, and opportunities galore. I miss my friends and family who have watched my life explode. I feel guilty because I don’t have the time or emotional capacity to fill each of them in on my life right now. I can’t keep up with the people who matter most, because I can barely keep up with my own life right now. // I am not complaining about this past year of adventures. The woman who has emerged would shock the mirror-image young girl from a year ago. I have so many blessings to be thankful for. However it’s uncharted territory for me, and it’s been hard to really process what the heck is going on. // Maybe I needed write this out to remind myself I’m human and it’s okay to be overwhelmed. And maybe, I just needed to remind you guys too. Life is beautiful, but wild. I think it’s okay to be strong-to know you’re strong-but to still feel weak simultaneously. I believe that’s when the magic happens. My spirit has opportunity to grow and blossom from this place. Healing and restoration can happen. I can rest knowing that My Savior has compassion and wants to help and love me through this journey. I’ve just got to let Him. I don’t know if I have been lately— but I am now because honestly, I think I would give out if I didn’t. So yeah, I’m not going to struggle to disguise my weakness— I’m just gonna give over the keys to my main man Jesus and let him bless me through this ride. Isaiah 54:10

“She felt a little hurt with Tyler,” Nielson told the publication.

“And still hurt with Jed [Wyatt],” Chris Randone, Nielson’s husband, added.

Brown has been candid about her post-Bachelorette struggles on her social pages. Nielson says she encourages Brown to keep being open because she’s been an “amazing lead because of [her] vulnerability.”
