‘The Bachelorette’: What Hannah Brown Wishes Tyler C. Would Have Done Differently When it Comes to Gigi Hadid

Hannah Brown just can’t catch a break. After being broken up with by Bachelor Colton Underwood, it seemed like things had finally turned around for the former beauty queen when it was announced that she would be the next Bachelorette.

But even after dating 30 men, Brown couldn’t find her knight in shining armor. At the end of her season, she chose singer Jed Wyatt. Unfortunately for Brown, Wyatt was more interested in his music career than being honest or faithful to her. He also failed to break up with his girlfriend, Haley Stevens, before coming onto The Bachelorette, so he and Brown’s relationship was doomed before it ever really started.

“I am not with Jed anymore,” Brown told viewers at the Bachelorette live finale. “The engagement is over, we are not together. That is not what I said yes to. When I said those things, the things that I said to him on my engagement date, I thought that was my day, and I feel like that was taken from me and how special that was, and it’s been really hard to gravel with that, but I know that what I got is not what I ever wanted for a life partner and love that is not built on a foundation of trust and honesty. I have grown so much, and I know I deserved more than that.”

Tyler Cameron and Brown

Brown’s runner up, Tyler Cameron, was a fan favorite. All throughout the show, people were urging Brown to pick Cameron over Wyatt. And now that the season has wrapped, fans have still been pushing for a Brown/Cameron reunion.

Brown tried to make that happen by asking Cameron out on a date and the two did eventually end up going out.

“The feelings that I have for Tyler didn’t go away,” Brown told People. “Just because I’m single doesn’t mean I didn’t have feelings for him still. I did want to hang out with him and a single girl can go out on dates and I wanted to go out and have a drink.”

“I thought it went great,” she said of the date. “I think he did too.”

Unfortunately, after their date, Cameron began hanging out with model Gigi Hadid, much to Bachelor nation’s dismay.

What does Brown have to say about Cameron hanging out with Hadid?

Brown recently went on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast and gave her opinion on the whole situation.

“[Tyler] has every right to do whatever he wants because we were just, you know, hanging out, seeing where it goes,” she said. “And I am completely fine with that.”

But when the subject of how public Cameron’s dates have been came up, Brown sang a different tune.

“You’re on Twitter talking about ‘Hannah’s the queen’ and preaching about respect, but then you’re being a little disrespectful by dating other people in such a public way where you know it’s gonna get so much attention. I think that’s my beef with it,” host Rachel Lindsay said of Cameron.

Brown agreed that she wished Cameron had gone about the whole thing differently.

“We are not dating dating, at all, we hung out, but we also had conversations of both like knowing that there’s still something there,” Brown said. “And when you are in the public eye, you do just have to be respectful of each other. Yeah, I wish I would’ve got a little bit more than two days. But, you know, it is OK.”
