‘The Bachelorette’: Which Past Bachelorettes Does Chris Harrison Think Made the Wrong Choices?
Chris Harrison is to The Bachelorette what the Fairy Godmother is to Cinderella. He’s the one who guides the Bachelorettes along and makes sure that they find their prince charmings. Though Harrison can give his two cents on the things going on in the Bachelor mansion, it’s ultimately up to the women to choose a guy who is there for the right reasons.
Over the past 14 seasons of The Bachelorette, some women have found love and some have just found heartache, and even though Harrison was there every step of the way for each woman, he doesn’t necessarily agree with all of their choices.
Who does Harrison think made the wrong choice?
Often when it comes down to the final few contestants, choosing which man would be the best fit for the lead is hard. The men are typically neck and neck with one another at this point.
But, in the end, there is always a right choice and a wrong one.
One Bachelorette who Harrison thinks made the wrong decision was Andi Dorfman from season 10. Dorfman separated from her pick, Josh Murray, just five short months after getting engaged on the show.
“She was happy for a while, but obviously I think she ended up probably with the wrong guy,” Harrison told Us Weekly.
And it’s not just the Bachelorettes that Harrison thinks make the wrong decisions from time to time. He has also called out Jake Pavelka of season 14 of The Bachelor for his pick, Vienna Girardi.
“I’m trying to think who was number two that season — I already forgot,” he told the outlet. “But obviously, they were a little bit like oil and water. They did not get along very well together.”
Which Bachelors shouldn’t have gone on the show?
Harrison believes that some Bachelors shouldn’t have even been on the show to begin with.
“Bob Guiney [shouldn’t have done it],” Harrison said. “I love Bob, he’s a dear friend of mine…but I think when he got partially through the show, I think he realized, ‘I’m not really there yet. I’m not ready to find somebody.’
At the end of Guiney’s season, he ended up giving his winner, Estella Gardinier a promise ring.
Does Harrison think Hannah Brown will make the wrong decision?
After going through so many renditions of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, it’s safe to say that Harrison probably has a knack for predicting how these things will turn out.
But right before filming Hannah Brown’s finale, Harrison wasn’t so sure that she would get the happy ending that she was looking for.
“Sitting here now, I really don’t know how it’s going to end,” the host told Entertainment Tonight. “I am hopeful and she is hopeful, but the way she wants to find love and the way she is going about this is really true and sincere. She is not just going to do it to do it, and as rough as it has been and as wild as it has been, I am not sure she is going to be able to get there. And that is because she doesn’t know if she will be able to get there. So, I am interested as anybody to see how this all wraps up.”
