‘The Bachelorette’: Why Greece Was Tyler C.’s Favorite Location
Greece was an important location in Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. It’s where fantasy suites took place, it’s where she sent controversial contestant Luke Parker home, and it’s where she got engaged.
It was also fan favorite Tyler Cameron‘s favorite filming location, but not because of the time he spent with Brown before getting sent home.
Tyler C. was living the good life in Greece
In an interview with the Bachelor Party podcast, Cameron said that production “hooked me up. I had a two-story villa with a pool, endless food and drinks. I had the best time.”
Apparently, he had a good amount of downtime. And when he wasn’t with Brown, he’d hang out with “producers and cameramen.”
Cameron says he loved exploring Crete.
“Got to do some exploring, go hit other cities and stuff like that. Crete’s huge. The roads are crazy and the drivers are nuts,” he said.
In his downtime, in Greece and throughout the entirety of the show, Cameron spent a lot of time reading.
“I read a lot. I read more during that whole journey than I had in the last four years,” he said.
The best book he read while there, he says, was “The Tattooist of Auschwitz. That book was incredible. I gotta get back into reading. I just bought a new book: Where The Crawdads Sing. I gotta get back on it. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it.”
Tyler C.’s favorite ‘Bachelorette’ episode
While Greece was Cameron’s favorite location, his favorite episode was hometowns. He’s thankful for the footage of his father that the show captured.
“That’s a moment I’ll always cherish and super grateful for. I had a professor for this film class I was in and he talked about, everyone should sit down with their family, their parents, and do a thirty minute or hour recording and just ask them questions. Ask them about their life. Just something you can always have and look at. Now that I have those times documented with my dad I’ll forever have that. That’s probably the thing I’m most thankful for from the show,” he said.
While Cameron’s favorite filming location and episode don’t have anything to do with Brown, he says they’re on good terms with each other and that there aren’t any “hard feelings.”
“She’s a great person and there’s no hard feelings. She’s super sweet and I hope nothing but the best for her. She’s gonna crush Dancing With The Stars. She better go win that Mirrorball. She better go crush it and win that Mirrorball,” he said on the podcast.
