The Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes of 2018
Is it just us, or does it seem like everyone took Halloween extremely seriously this year? In 2018, we’ve seen some shockingly accurate and decked out costumes that we can’t believe came together so perfectly. Celebrities took it to the next level, considering they have some serious cash to dedicate to their costumes each year.
Rest assured: These stars definitely did not disappoint. Here are the best celebrity Halloween costumes of 2018.
Rita Ora as Post Malone
We’re thinking Rita Ora may have won Halloween this year. She dressed up as Post Malone — and not a single detail went unnoticed. From his recognizable tattoos (especially the ones on his face) to his overall demeanor, we truly had to take a double-take.
Ora wasn’t able to put this look together all on her own, however. She gave credit where credit was due on Instagram, sharing, “So many people I need to thank for helping me dress as @postmalone this year!! All tagged! #happyhalloween.”
Harry Styles as Elton John
We have to give some serious credit to Harry Styles for his 2018 Halloween costume. He dressed as a very specific version of Elton John — from his 1975 performance at Dodger Stadium.
Even the real-life Elton John was impressed with the musician’s choice of costume, sharing it on his own Instagram page and writing, “Now that’s what I call a Halloween costume @harrystyles.”
Joe Jonas as Sansa Stark
Our mouths totally dropped when we saw Joe Jonas dressed as Sansa Stark. His real-life fiancée, Sophie Turner, actually plays Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, so he certainly has some personal connections to the character. Plus, we’re loving how his ripped muscles and facial hair come into play with the costume.
Halsey as Poison Ivy
And the award for the sexiest Halloween costume goes to … Halsey! The singer seriously brought the heat in her barely-there Poison Ivy costume. She wore the look to her Gotham City-themed party, and it’s safe to say she went all-in with the theme.
Perrie Edwards as Ursula

We can’t even imagine how long it took to get Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards painted to perfection for this Ursula halloween costume. It’s hard to believe she’s actually real in this photo, considering she appears to be straight out of a comic book. Honestly, bravo to the team that created this version of “Sexy Ursula.”
Camila Mendes and Lili Reinhart as Pedro and Napoleon Dynamite
Riverdale dream-team Camila Mendes and Lili Reinhart were on-point this Halloween. Rather than go the sexy route, they opted for the nerdiest and most adorable costumes out there. We never knew how much we needed to see these real-life and on-screen besties dressed in these costumes … but we’re so glad we did.
Kendall Jenner as Fembot
Model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner took us back in time with her groovy costume. She dressed as Fembot from 1999’s Austin Powers. Plus, she even had the help of her friends dressed as other characters from the movie, including Austin Powers himself.
Gabrielle Union-Wade as Gwen Stefani
OK, Gabrielle Union-Wade put some serious effort into her Halloween costume this year. She went as Gwen Stefani, and she really got into it. The star even gave her Instagram followers a bit of a performance by dancing down some stairs in character along to No Doubt’s “Just A Girl.”
