More than 60 new movies will be added to Showtime in August 2019. Here are some of the highlights:

Hitsville: The Making of Motown: This brand-new documentary about Detroit’s legendary Motown Records features exclusive interviews with label founder Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson, and others, as well as rare performances and behind-the-scenes footage. Premieres Saturday, August 25 at 9/8c.

David Bowie: Finding Fame: The third film in director France Whately’s series about David Bowie arrived on Showtime on August 1. It looks back at Bowie’s early years and rise to fame and includes interviews with family members and one of his ex-girlfriends.

Four Weddings and a Funeral: Hooked on Hulu’s Four Weddings and a Funeral? Now’s the time to revisit the classic romantic comedy that inspired the series. The 1993 movie stars Hugh Grant in the role that made him famous stateside and Andie MacDowell as his American love interest. Streaming from August 1.

The Shining: Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Shining is a masterpiece of psychological horror. King might not have liked Kubrick’s version of his story, but critics and fans disagreed about the 1980 movie, with legendary critic Roger Ebert, who gave it four stars, calling it “cold and frightening.” Streaming from August 1.

Gosford Park: The Downton Abbey movie hits theaters in September. Fans can whet their appetite by watching Robert Altman’s Gosford Park, a muder mystery set at a grand English country house in the early 1930s. Downton creator Julian Fellowes wrote the screenplay, and he originally imagined that series as a spinoff of the movie. Streaming from August 1.
