The Biggest Celebrity Weddings of 2019 We Can’t Stop Talking About
These past 12 months, we watched many A-listers tie the knot during gorgeously lavish wedding ceremonies and to be completely honest, we’re a little hurt we didn’t get invited to at least one of them.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnhum
To kick off our list of unforgettable celebrity weddings of 2019, we had to start with former Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham’s Hawaiian nuptails.
10 months before tying the knot, this reality couple caused Bachelor Nation to go into a complete uproar after Luyendyk ended his engagement to Becca Kufrin on The Bachelor‘s After the Final Rose special then proposed to Burnham shortly after.
Though their engagement caused a ton of controversy, the couple didn’t let the intense backlash stop them from getting their happily ever after.
On January 12, Luyendyk and Burnham said their “I Do’s” during a beautiful ceremony in Maui and every Bachelor alum you could think of was in attendance.
To make the day even more special, The Bachelor host, Chris Harrison, officiated the nuptials making this the perfect start to the 2019 wedding season.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Lauren Hashian
13 years and 2 kids later, we were starting to think Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his longtime love, Lauren Hashian, were never going to tie the knot.
The couple eventually proved us wrong because on August 18, they finally made their love official by exchanging vows during an intimate wedding ceremony in Hawaii.
“We do. August 18, 2019,” Johnson captioned an Instagram post of himself and Hashian on their big day.
Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon
2019 definitely was the year for Bachelor weddings and many of us still can’t get over how gorgeous Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon’s summer nuptials were.
The Bachelor in Paradise alums tied the knot on August 11 in Rhode Island and everything about their wedding was breathtaking.
From their elegant venue to their romantic vows, this wedding was definitely a fairytale moment and just like every wedding guest in attendance, we couldn’t help but shed a tear or two.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner might not have topped Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s insanely lavish 2018 wedding festivities but their wedding was just as special.
The couple exchanged vows on June 29 in Sarrians, France after a week of fun activities with close family and friends.
Though Jonas and Turner had already gotten married in Las Vegas back in May following the Billboard Music Awards, they decided to hold a more sophisticated ceremony without Elvis impersonators and ring pops.
For their second wedding, the pair exchanged nuptials in front of celebrity friends and family and even had their own special beer made just for the event.
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger didn’t waste any time becoming and wife.
The couple wed this past June in a private ceremony held at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, just five months after announcing their engagement.
Angelina Pivarnick and Chris Larangeira
Despite what her Jersey Shore co-stars might think, Angelina Pivarnick made for a beautiful bride.
The reality star exchanged nuptials with her fiancé Chris Larangeira at the Park Château Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey, on November 20.
While this wedding was a longtime in the making, we really thought it was going to be everything Pivarnick wanted and more but sadly, it wasn’t.
A few days after saying “I Do,” it was revealed that Pivarnick’s Jersey Shore bridesmaids, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzo, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Deena Cortese, actually ruined her big day by giving hurtful speeches during her reception.
“Deena, Snooki and Jenni, in their speeches, made some jokes about Angelina. The audience booed them,” a source told Us Weekly. “Their jokes were all in good fun, but they didn’t land and some didn’t think they were kind.”
Because of this, the reality star would like a wedding do-over, one that doesn’t come with a slew of drama.
“Two weeks married @chris_e_piss_e my love. We def need a total redo of this day for many reasons,” Pivarnick captioned a photo she posted to Instagram on December 5. “I love u and your companionship. #mylove #redo.”
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin
Okay, we can all agree that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s wedding was the most anticipated celebrity event of the year.
Although the couple tied the knot last year at a New York City courthouse, they made their union official this past September at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Aside from the fact that their venue was absolutely beautiful, the couple had many family and friends in attendance, including a ton of their celebrity pals such as Kendall Jenner, Scooter Braun, Camila Morrone and Joan Smalls.
