‘The Challenge’: Fessy Shafaat Doesn’t Think Anyone Can Beat Him in an Elimination, Devin Walker Fires Back
The Challenge star Fessy Shafaat is currently undefeated in eliminations as he recently defeated friend and ally Nelson Thomas in Hall Brawl. Following his win, Shafaat boldly claimed he didn’t believe any other player could beat him in a physical elimination. Double Agents co-star and Rivals III finalist Devin Walker responded to his claims insisting he and the other players are not afraid to compete against the former football player.
Fessy Shafaat and Devin Walker returned for ‘The Challenge 36’
Big Brother 20 star Fessy Shafaat made his debut last season on Total Madness and earned his way to the finals by eliminating three-time champ Jordan Wiseley.
The former college player went on to win two more daily challenges before finishing fourth.
In 2016, Devin Walker, remembered for his time on Are You the One 3?, debuted on The Challenge: Rivals III, where he placed third as a rookie, taking home $12,500.
The reality star has since competed in three more seasons where he failed to make the finals. Walker and Shafaat returned for Double Agents seeking their first win. However, the two didn’t work together as they had different alliances.
Shafaat doesn’t think anyone can beat him in a physical elimination
Following his partner’s disqualification and a house blow up, the AYTO star found himself in elimination against his close ally and friend Wes Bergmann.
The veteran seemingly lost his will to continue in the competition, and Walker ultimately pulled it out, becoming one of the first guys to receive his gold skull. A couple of weeks later, when Walker and his new teammate Tori Deal were the double agents, Nelson Thomas was voted into elimination by most of the house.
Fessy wanted to compete in the Hall Brawl for the skull, even though he and Thomas were friends and close allies. Hoping he would help them out if they need it later, Deal and Walker granted the former football player his wish who sent his friend packing.
Following the next episode, Shafaat published a video on his Patreon, insisting he could beat anyone in a one-on-one physical elimination. Several fans disagreed as they believe CT Tamburello could stand a chance.
Walker challenges Fessy; says no one is afraid of him
The clip went viral with many fans tagging other Challengers in it to get their response. Walker eventually replied to Shafaat’s bold claims a few days later, where he explained the football player is listed at 6’5 and 250 pounds, which he stated is one inch taller than 1% of the population.
The reality star continued and implied the Big Brother star didn’t have as impressive an elimination history as one would think. Walker explained Shafaat defeated Wiseley, who has six fingers, in a pole wrestling challenge and beat Thomas, who he says is 5’10 and 190 pounds, in a Hall Brawl elimination.
The AYTO star doesn’t think Shafaat’s record is anything to brag about because of the size difference with his opponents. Additionally, he claimed he and the other players aren’t afraid of the former football player unless it’s a challenge where his size would give him an advantage.
Shafaat has yet to respond to Walker publicly. The Challenge 36 airs Wednesdays at 8/7 Central on MTV.
