‘The Challenge’: Jenna Compono Said She’s ‘Blocking Every Single Person’ Who’s Rude to Her About Zach Nichols
There have been plenty of volatile relationships on MTV’s The Challenge, but many fans vocalized their feelings about Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols. The couple is officially getting married, but their public spats have turned majorly toxic in the past. And it’s clear Compono’s had enough of the public backlash, as she told her Instagram followers that she’s blocking anyone who has something negative to say about her relationship.
Jenna Compono is preparing for her wedding to Zach Nichols
Compono and Nichols have been dating for years, and they first met on The Challenge back in 2014. They’ve gone through multiple breakups over the years, and much of their romance has been captured on reality TV. Now, the two are preparing to wed — and Compono is sharing bits and pieces of her wedding planning with fans.
“Right now all I’m really worrying about is the wedding because that’s in February and nothing is open, so I’m starting to freak out,” Compono told Entertainment Weekly. “Our engagement party got pushed to August. So that sucks too.”
While fans adore Compono on The Challenge, it looks like she’s focused on her love life over the show. After Total Madness, she shared that she won’t have time for The Challenge after her wedding. When a fan asked her on social media if she’d do another season post-nuptials, she answered, “Most likely not … we want six kids, we have a lot of work to do after the wedding.”
Compono and Nichols have come under fire after events on ‘Total Madness’
We’ve seen spats between Nichols and Compono before, but none of them were as volatile as what happened on Total Madness. While Compono competed, Nichols went through her direct messages and found messages from men years ago — and it caused him to question her faithfulness. While Compono swore she never cheated on Nichols, Nichols threatened to kick Compono off the show if she didn’t quit immediately and come home.
Compono didn’t quit, but it was clear her head was elsewhere after what happened with Nichols. And while fans condemned his behavior, it seems like Nichols doesn’t think he did anything wrong.
During the Total Madness virtual reunion, the host asked Nichols what he found on Compono’s phone. “Doesn’t matter,” Nichols replied. “Regardless of what I found, we were strong enough to work through it.” And when the host asked Nichols if he would’ve changed his approach if he could, Nichols answered, “No. I think I stand by my decision.”
Compono said she’s ‘blocking’ everyone who’s rude to her on social media
Compono’s made it clear she’s had enough of the hate on her social media. And she posted a photo of herself prepping for the wedding with a harsh caption.
“One thing down, 100 things left to do!” she captioned her post of her announcing she picked out her wedding dress. “Ps I will be blocking every single person who has something rude to say.”
We’re sure Compono is talking about some of her fans, but we can’t forget she’s gotten into public spats with other Challenge contestants. Amanda Garcia absolutely can’t stand Nichols and duked it out with him online. Jemmye Carroll also brought Compono into the conversation via Twitter by talking negatively about Compono and Nichols’ relationship. And Compono made it known she’s sick of the drama.
It looks like Wes Bergmann is supportive of Compono and Nichols at least. He commented, “Adorbes,” on another recent post of Compono and Nichols.
We’re hoping we get more info about the upcoming wedding soon!
