‘The Eternals’: Is Angelina Jolie Really Coming Between Kit Harington and Rose Leslie?
Angelina Jolie and Kit Harington are joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming superhero flick, The Eternals. While Marvel fans cannot wait to see what the new franchise has to offer, inside sources claim that Jolie and Harington have been flirting with each other on the set of their new project. Harington is currently married to his former Game of Thrones co-star, Rose Leslie, yet sources say Jolie is driving a wedge between them.
Angelina Jolie flirts with Kit Harington
Unnamed sources claim that Jolie has been flirting with the Game of Thrones star while working on The Eternals. An insider says that Jolie is the one who started the flirting and that Kit Harington is doing his best to resist her advances.
“While Kit would never act on it, it is Angelina Jolie. There’s no denying her effect on men,” the source revealed.
This, of course, would not be the first time Jolie has snagged a man while filming a movie. Back in 2005, Jolie sparked a series of cheating rumors after working with Brad Pitt on Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Pitt and Angelina Jolie starting dating shortly after he divorced Jennifer Aniston, which was finalized in 2005. The couple has since denied hooking up while Pitt was married to Aniston, but the rumors still persist.
There has not been any evidence to suggest that Kit Harington and Jolie are flirting on the set of The Eternals. Sources, however, say that Leslie should keep a close eye on the situation.
Are the rumors true?
Thankfully, there is a good reason to believe that Jolie has not been flirting with Kit Harington. According to Business Times, a source close to the situation claims that the reports are untrue and that Angelina Jolie has not been trying to get with Harington in the slightest.
A friend of the Game of Thrones star has also come forward to reveal the reports are false. The pal says that Harington and Jolie have been very professional towards each other and nothing even remotely romantic has gone down.
The Eternals is set to open in theaters in November of next year. Apart from Angelina Jolie and Harington, the film stars Richard Madden and Salma Hayek.
Harington plays the part of Dane Whitman, who also goes by the name of the Black Knight. For her part, Jolie will appear in the film as Thena, one of the leaders of the Eternals.
Jolie and Harington have not commented on the reports surrounding their new project.
Kit Harington celebrates a major anniversary
While Harington deals with the Jolie rumors, he and Leslie recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
The couple marked their first year as man and wife shortly after Harington finished a program at a rehab center. The actor reportedly checked himself into the facility to deal with issues of stress and exhaustion.
An inside source says that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie had a great time together over the summer and spent a lot of time with their families. Harington is reportedly doing better and his wife could not be happier that he is home in London.
Harington and Leslie met on the set of Game of Thrones and dated for a number of years before tying the knot in the summer of 2018. In a previous interview, Harington admitted that meeting Leslie was the best part of his time on the HBO series.
A ‘Game of Thrones’ reunion
Harington is currently hard at work filming The Eternals, but he still took some time away from his busy schedule to celebrate Emilia Clarke’s 33rd birthday.
Clarke shared a photo she took with Kit Harington and her other former on-screen lover, Jason Momoa, on social media. The three co-stars smiled big for the photo op, which was their first reunion following the end of Game of Thrones.
Harington played Clarke’s romantic interest, Jon Snow, in later seasons while Momoa was her character’s first love in season 1, Khal Drogo.
“Reunions never looked this hairy,” Clarke wrote alongside the pic.
For her part, Clarke is currently gearing up for the premiere of her next movie, Last Christmas. The film is set to open in theaters on November 8.
