The three get together and take an awkward drive to the ranch. There is no internet, so they’re forced to bond. Pedro says he’s experienced with riding horses since he’s been doing it since childhood. However, River and Thomas don’t have the same life experiences.

The rivalry is already coming out between Pedro and River, who are riding horses together to get a hang for it. Pedro playfully tells River that he has the easiest horse on the ranch.

“I’m a professional. I can ride bulls,” River jokes.

“You learned from the best, from me,” Pedro replies.

River says they can race the horses together and they seem to be getting along rather well despite the playful rivalry coming out.

After a day of riding horses, the three sit at the bar to drink a little bit and bond. Thomas says he saw “teamwork” between Pedro and River while they were riding earlier together.

“Today I had the best time of my life with River and Thomas,” Pedro tells the cameras. Pedro feels this is the first experience with them where he’s not being treated like a “criminal.”

Pedro questions why they didn’t like him from the start. “I don’t know why you don’t like me from the beginning,” Pedro says.

Pedro and River talk it out

River explains he didn’t trust him in the beginning of things, and it wasn’t that he didn’t like him. He goes on to explain that he didn’t trust him at first because the family was under the impression that Pedro was in the U.S. on a student visa, not a K-1 visa. The family found out a few days before the wedding, which put a strain on the relationship.

They agree to leave the stuff that’s happened in the past in the past so they can move forward. River tells the cameras he doesn’t trust Pedro though.

Thomas tells Pedro that he’s a part of the family. Pedro tells the cameras that he’s jealous of the relationship that Thomas and River have and he wanted to be a part of the family like that. However, they all made steps in the right direction for the future at the dude ranch.

Pedro’s time at the dude ranch with Thomas and River was well worth it. They were able to get some much-needed bonding time as a family and they are definitely making strides together. Hopefully we’ll get to see more moments between Pedro, Thomas, and River in the future.
