‘The Masked Singer’: Victor Oladipo Wants to Take Nicole Scherzinger On A Date
On the most recent episode of The Masked Singer, audiences learned the true identities of the Leopard and Thingamajig.
Goodbye to the Leopard aka Seal
A shocked audience watched as Seal was eliminated from the show this week.
But there’s no hard feelings on the singer’s end; he had a great time.
“It’s certainly one that I won’t forget, that’s for sure,” he said of competing on the show. “But it was a lot of fun, and [I’m] kind of sad that it’s over.”
Seal says he participated for his four children and Heidi Klum.
“I thought that this would be a great opportunity to make them laugh and make myself laugh,” he said. It’s safe to say he thought right.
Thingamajig is Victor Oladipo and he’s not done flirting with judge Nicole Scherzinger
The Masked Singer audience knows judge Nicole Scherzinger has been flirting with Thingamajig all season long. On this week’s episode, Thingamajig was revealed to be none other than NBA star Victor Oladipo.
Now that he’s been eliminated, he doesn’t want the flirting to stop.
“If I actually do, hopefully it’s in the near future if the moment or opportunity presents itself,” he told PEOPLE TV’s Reality Check of taking Scherzinger out.
So what does he have up his sleeve? Whatever the Pussycat Dolls singer wants.
“If I did, I would just take her to wherever she wants to go because it would be all about her and me getting to know her, and obviously us getting to know one another,” he said.
Like Seal, Oladipo says “it feels great” to have performed on The Masked Singer.
He also said it’s been a lot of fun.
“It has been a rough year for me but to be able to come out here and put smiles on people’s faces and just do something fun for once and get away from the game has been awesome. It’s nothing but a blessing for me,” he said.
Oladipo was able to go on The Masked Singer after being sidelined with a serious knee injury that took place in January.
“I don’t anticipate Victor being available for a while, and I don’t know what a while is,” Pacers coach Nate McMillian said in late September. “There’s no timetable. I haven’t had any information given to me that he will be practicing live anytime soon.”
We’re glad he got to do something fun during his recovery. We’ll have to wait and see if he gets a date out of his off-time, too.
The Masked Singer finale is next Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox where we’ll see the Flamingo, Rottweiler and Fox sing their hearts out.
