When Witherspoon shared the trailer of The Morning Show to her Instagram account, many fans began asking how they could watch the new series. Others wanted to know why the series wasn’t picked up by another service.

One fan wrote, “This needs to be on Showtime. Or HBO. No offense, AppleTV+ but c’mon!!! This looks wayyyy too good!!!!”

After the first person complained about the show being on Apple TV+, there were many more responses. Some agreed with her, but others offered advice on how to download the app.

Apple TV+ will be launching its paid streaming service this fall. They do not have a set date yet but aim for a November release. The company plans to charge $9.99, however, rumors suggest that there might be a free trial period.

‘The Morning Show’ trailer will bring viewers to Apple TV+

While there was dissent among fans about the show being exclusively on Apple TV+, the general consensus is that the public wants to watch it.

One fan wrote on Witherspoon’s Instagram post of the trailer, “OMG you, Steve, and Jen? that’s the best thing ever.” It’s clear that Apple TV+ knew what they were doing when they brought these three actors all in on one show.

This series will mark the first return to television for both Anniston and Carell since the conclusion of their hit shows, Friends in 2004, and The Office in 2011, respectively. Witherspoon garnered critical acclaim for her performance in Big Little Lies, so fans are certainly ready for more of her work as well.

The trailer gave way to responses such as this one, “Looks so incredible @reesewitherspoon!! Chills all the way through the trailer.” The preview of the new show has fans on the edge of their seats, already waiting to see what will happen next.

‘The Morning Show’ is written, directed and produced by women

Although it wasn’t directly advertised, fans did not miss the fact that the new series also is exclusively written and directed by women, “WOW! Can’t wait! The cast, the story, chills!!! And written and directed by women!”

Not only does Witherspoon star in The Morning Show, but she is also an executive producer.

Mimi Leder is the director and executive producer of the series. Kristin Hahn and Lauren Levy Neustadter serve as additional executive producers for the series.

Although some fans are upset about the series being exclusively on Apple TV+, the good majority of fans are ready to see what all the hype is about. The Morning Show will be coming to the streaming service this fall.
