The Most Hated TV Show Hosts Ever
Rosie O’Donnell on The View | ABC
Most people turn on the TV after a long day to tune out the world and to find some comfort and solace in their favorite television program, series, or game show. Unfortunately, some of the most infamous TV hosts refuse to let you relax.
With so many channels and series to choose from, television today has paved the way for some obnoxious television hosts who say rude and belligerent things to get their audiences riled up.
From Sean Hannity, who loves to blurt out offensive news, to Wendy Williams, who has a mean streak when talking about celebrities, here are the most hated TV news hosts ever. The voice of No. 8 sounds like nails on a chalkboard.
20. Ryan Seacrest
Ryan Seacrest hosting American Idol | Fox
From American Idol to his own radio show and now with Live with Kelly and Ryan, we can’t seem to escape Ryan Seacrest. He’s certainly not the worst TV host in the world, but he’s just kind of dull and uninteresting.
Quite frankly, Kelly Ripa can do the show on her own.

19. Gordon Ramsay
Gordon Ramsay on Hell’s Kitchen | Food Network
We have to admit that as obnoxious as Gordon Ramsay is, he’s also super amusing. In both of his widely popular shows, Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay spirals into fits of rage, screaming and cursing at inspiring chefs and restauranteurs who are just struggling to impress him. It’s fun to watch if you can stomach it.

18. Wendy Williams
Wendy Williams on The Wendy Williams Show | Fox
Since the beginning of her career, which started on the radio, Wendy Williams has been known to stir up quite a bit of controversy. Known as the “shock jockette,” Williams made a name for herself by getting into on-air tiffs with her celebrity guests.
Now, in the age of social media and with her long-running talk show The Wendy Williams Show, the New Jersey native loves to get in the middle of the drama, but sometimes she’s just downright mean.

17. Bill Maher
Real Time with Bill Maher | HBO
Bill Maher likes to push people’s buttons and sometimes that works well for the Real Time with Bill Maher host. However, Maher always takes things too far, and if he keeps going this way, it might just cost him his HBO job. In June of 2017, Maher had the nerve to get on his show and use a racial slur. Maher later apologized for using the word.
HBO denounced the remark as “completely inexcusable and tasteless.”

16. Stacey Dash
Stacey Dash on Fox & Friends | Fox
Stacey Dash would be way worse if she weren’t so pathetic. The former actress made a name for herself on Clueless and in black cast series like Single Ladies. However, in recent years, she’s been bashing the black community. The former Fox News correspondent said that BET and Black History Month should be canceled.
She said, “We have to make up our minds either we want to have segregation or integration, and if we don’t want segregation, then we have to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard.”
She conveniently forgot she was on the BET series, The Game.

15. Keith Olbermann
Countdown with Keith Olbermann | MSNBC
Commentators with more liberal agendas can also be the worst — just think of the exhausting Keith Olbermann. The GQ special correspondent hasn’t learned that it’s not what you say, but how you say it. A major fan of juvenile rants, Olbermann’s inflammatory personality outweighs his overall message.
The 58-year old recently announced that he was retiring from political commentary saying,”I give my work everything I can, so it’s not like I can dial it back.”

14. Elisabeth Hasselbeck
Elisabeth Hasselbeck on The View | ABC
We don’t think anyone watches The View anymore, but when they did, Elisabeth Hasselbeck was one of the most annoying of the co-hosts. The former Fox & Friends host was conservative — which is fine, but she would whine and cry to get her point across, making it just unbearable.
Perhaps she should have just hosted Survivor.

13. Donald Trump
Donald Trump on The Apprentice | NBC
Remember the old days when Donald Trump was just the irritating host of The Apprentice — way before folks thought it was a good idea to make him the president of the U.S.?
Back when Trump was the king of reality TV, he wasn’t talented or interesting (so basically just like he isn’t now) and all he did was sit around frowning and bellowing out, “You’re fired.” Oh, the good old days.

12. Piers Morgan
Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain | ITV
Piers Morgan is the same individual who thinks he has the right to get into Twitter wars with the goddess J.K. Rowling, which is one of many reasons why he is among the most intolerable people on the planet. Not only is Morgan loud and wrong, but he’s also sexist and annoying.
Things have gotten so bad recently for the Good Morning Britain host that viewers want him to be fired. We bet he was a bit triggered by that.

11. Glenn Beck
Glenn Beck on The O’Reilly Factor | Fox
Just thinking about Glenn Beck makes us exhausted. The conspiracy theorist and Obama hater is one of the reasons we are suffering under Trump and even Beck, who adores the Constitution, is admitting to his part in all of it.
Most of what Beck sputtered on Fox News was utter nonsense. Now that we have Trump, it’s too late for any of Beck’s apologizes or backtracking.

10. Sarah Palin

We all remember Sarah Palin for her epic fail as a politician, but you might not remember her tragic 8-episode TLC series, Sarah Palin’s Alaska. The series, which aired just before the 2012 presidential campaign kicked off, was supposed to make Palin more palatable and acted as a multi-million dollar ad campaign.
Needless to say, watching Palin be outdoorsy didn’t erase some of the baffling things she’s said politically.

9. Joe Pyne
Joe Pyne | tvdays.com via YouTube
Though he passed away many years ago, Joe Pyne was a television staple in the ’50s and ’60s, and he paved the way for folks like Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly. Though Pyne wasn’t as obnoxious as many of those who have come after him, he still used his show to give a platform to Nazis, Manson followers, sexists, and everything in between. He was pretty despicable.

8. Nancy Grace
Nancy Grace | HLN
When we hear Nancy Grace’s name, our first instinct is to roll our eyes. The former TV host might be a former prosecutor, but we’re not entirely sure that she knows how the law works.
Grace is known for her vicious attacks on anyone she thinks is guilty, no matter what the evidence says, or if there is any evidence at all. She’s pretty awful, and it doesn’t help that her voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

7. Geraldo Rivera

Whoever gave Geraldo Rivera his show clearly hates humanity. The Geraldo at Large and Fox News contributor loves to spin news or just make it up entirely until it only makes sense for him and his conservative following.
Not only is his television show poorly rated, Rivera has also been accused of sexual harassment and generally being a disgusting human being. It’s baffling that he still has a platform.

6. Howard Stern

Howard Stern is unbearable enough to name himself the “King of All Media.” The brash and childish host made a name for himself on radio and then expanded into the realm of television.
Not only is Stern sexist and horrifying, he’s also good friends with Donald Trump. Once, he and Trump even sat on air and sexualized Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka Trump. Gross.

5. Brian Kilmeade

Fox & Friends‘ Brian Kilmeade apparently thinks we all live in Nazi Germany. He says offensive things regularly on his series, but his thoughts on “pure” Americans took the cake. He said, “We [Americans] keep marrying other species and other ethnics … Swedes have pure genes … in America, we marry everybody.”
Talk about disgustingly racist comments. He went on to apologize for his statement, but it certainly seemed like he meant everything that he said.

4. Tomi Lahren
Tomi Lahren | The Blaze
Just when you thought racist people were relics of the past, folks like Tomi Lahren make their presence known. The 25-year-old airhead is belligeren, often wrong, and likes to contradict herself. She’s riled against Obama’s health care policies, but in the next breath, also admitted that she benefits from them.
Many find her terrible and exhausting, but for whatever reason, she refuses to go away.

3. Bill O’Reilly

Ugh, it’s hard to think that at one point Bill O’Reilly dominated Fox News. After years of coverups and payments for sexual assaults and harassment, O’Reilly was finally booted off of television.
Let’s not even get into his racist remarks over the years. The self-proclaimed angry white man is despicable, and it’s really sad to see how far he was willing to take his terrible actions.

Before Sean Hannity, there was Morton Downey Jr., who dominated TV the 1980s with his intolerance, bullying, screaming, and name-calling. He was the epitome of repulsive.

The new king of Fox News in the actual worst. Not only does Sean Hannity scream and bleat on television, making up false news stories without any real evidence to back it up , he also makes racist and sexist comments all of the time.
Once, he even doctored footage to try and make his point about healthcare valid. It was a fail.
