Revealed: Which Cast Members Of ‘The Office’ Are Business Partners
The Office is a show that will stand the test of time. Premiering back in 2005, the show featured a talented and dynamic cast and crew who raised the bar for comedic shows everywhere. But though the show has been off of the air for over six years now, the cast of the show still remain close to this day. In fact, two cast members recently announced that they are going into business together.
The cast of The Office is no stranger to spending time together off-screen. Recently, a bunch of former Dunder Mifflin employees got together to celebrate B.J. Novak’s (Ryan Howard) 40th birthday. Novak also spends a great deal of time with Mindy Kaling (Kelly Kapoor) weekly and is the godfather to her daughter. But two stars are taking their relationship to the next level by going into business together.
Hilarious characters on and off-screen
Cast members Jenna Fischer (Pam Beesley Halpert) and Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin Schrute) have been best friends for years. Though the pair were often at odds with each other on-screen, in real life the besties couldn’t be closer. They have bonded over their adorably nerdy personalities and love to regale fans with their friendship stories. One of the funniest stories to date involves them convincing another alum of The Office, Amy Adams (“Hot Girl” Katy), to introduce them to acting legend, Meryl Streep.
“I knew she was my spirit animal when I told her I thought the best way to meet new people was just to walk up to them laughing and that’s how we awkwardly met Meryl Streep. We all need a best friend who’ll walk up to strangers fake laughing with us. (And a special thanks to Amy Adams for being so cool in this moment and introducing us to Meryl Streep even though I’m sure she thought we were tipsy. But no… just dorks.),” Fischer wrote about former castmate and current bestie.
Partners in crime and business
Now, after nearly 15 years of friendship, the two friends are going into business together. The pair began teasing their upcoming business partnership on social media a few months ago. “Happy Birthday to my BFF, Target run buddy, and future business partner @angelakinsey I couldn’t have dreamed of a better friend to navigate adulthood, motherhood and crazy Hollywood life with! Sending you lots of birthday love!,” Fischer wrote in a birthday post about Kinsey. Since the two have been keeping fans of The Office guessing about what is coming next.
Fun projects TBA
Though the pair hasn’t yet announced what exactly their business venture is, Fischer has hinted that they’re expecting to announce some things very soon. “This is what it looks like when you go into business with your best friend! Hope to announce our fun projects very soon!! Love ya,” Fischer wrote in early July. “Woohooo! Bff biz ladies!! Also, I need to stop sitting on my foot like that,” Kinsey quickly commented back.
From one office to another
We’re excited to see what these former castmates will unveil. With their knack for humor, we’re hoping for a production company. The world could certainly use more powerful women behind the scenes as well as at the forefront of them. We wish these two stars of The Office great success on their next venture together.
