The Outlandish, Yet Simple, Way Kim Kardashian and Kids Are Celebrating Christmas

Baking cookies is an irreplaceable holiday tradition for many. Regardless of religion, baking holiday cookies is a staple of the season. Families come together to share traditional recipes, cook together, and then enjoy the results.

The Kardashian West family is no different. They love making cookies for the holidays just as much as the rest of us. But theirs may look a little different from the average family.

Kim Kardashian recently posted about cookie making on Instagram. She also showed off her gingerbread house, which is more like a gingerbread mansion.

Yes, the gingerbread house was furnished. It was bedecked with white wreaths on all of its little windows. That matches Kardashian’s Christmas decor. The Kardashian West family has a tree with white lights, and fake white snow.

Inside the little gingerbread house is a matching gingerbread Christmas tree, as well as a couch, a chair, and a little coffee table. All the furnishings are made out of gingerbread and are edible.

Cookies and gingerbread houses are standard holiday fare, but we’re not sure if we have ever seen a furnished one before. In addition to the inside being decorated, the gingerbread mansion sports the names of all the Kardashian West family members on the roof and gingerbread miniatures of all six family members standing out front.

Even though Kardashian did make some of her own cookies, she did not make the gingerbread house. It was a gift to the family from her mother, Kris Jenner. According to Kardashian, the house smells as delicious as it looks.

Saint West helped Kim Kardashian with the baking

Kardashian showed off some nice cookie cutters in her Instagram story. Although she doesn’t show his face, we can see little Saint West — Kardashian and Kanye West’s 3-year-old son — helping her roll out the dough.

As with any good Christmas event, Saint and Kardashian were listening to Christmas music. The little guy was even singing along.

Even though the gingerbread house smelled delicious, Saint and his siblings were not allowed to eat it. Kardashian told her son that his grandmother, Kris, would be “so sad” if bits were missing.

Upon closer inspection, though, Kardashian realized she was too late. Someone had already taken bites out of the house. Kardashian blamed, her kids, saying: “They are sneaking little bites and pieces of this!”

We’re not sure which of Kardashian’s four children ate the house. It’s possible that it was a team effort. Psalm is only 6 months old, so he’s above suspicion. But it could have easily been North, Saint, or even little Chicago.

The holidays can be stressful

It’s nice to see Kardashian engaged in a relaxing holiday activity with her family. Her Christmases can get pretty drama-filled. Last year she and her sister Kourtney Kardashian had a huge fight over scheduling a photoshoot for the Kardashian Christmas card

The fight was epic. Kim Kardashian was kind of mean and called Kourtney Kardashian boring. Now, the two sisters may be in another feud.

New episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians show Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian arguing with Kourtney over how much filming she does for the show.

The behavior of both women has fans on Kourtney Kardashian’s side. She hasn’t always been a fan favorite, so it’s really saying something that fans are standing up for her.

Hopefully, the three sisters can make amends in time for the holiday.

They’re going to need a lot of cookies to feed all the Kardashian-Jenners this Christmas. If everyone gets together, they could easily end up with a party of more than 20 people, between all the siblings, their children, and their partners. The clan must be used to it by now.
