The Peculiar Activity Prince William and Kate Middleton Did With George, Charlotte, and Louis Over Their Holidays

Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge’s children do not live average lives. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were born into the most famous royal family in the world, which means that they have opportunities to do things that many kids their age might not.

For the recent half-term break, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took their children to Anmer Hall — one of the couple’s residences. There, the family took part in a non-traditional activity.

Although Prince William and Kate can afford to have a team of nannies to take care of their children, they are known for being rather hands-on parents. For example, Prince William has shared that he and his wife lose sleep just like most parents, which shows that the royal couple often gets up in the middle of the night to take care of their babies.

As the kids grow older, Prince William and Kate try to spend quality time with them as well. The Duchess of Cambridge has shared that she loves to cook and do art projects with her children.

Prince William and Kate also give their children plenty of hugs and physical touch. Royals in the past are known for not being emotionally connected to their kids, but it’s clear that Prince William and Kate have their own ideas about what parenting means. They often promote mental health and share with the world that having a good relationship with one’s children will go a long way towards their development.

Prince William and Kate Middleton want their children to play outside a lot

In order to give their kids good childhoods, Prince William and Kate make sure that their children follow certain rules at home.

For instance, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do not allow their children to attend events on school nights. They seem to believe that the kids should be well-rested for school every day. It was reported that when their three kids begged to go see a performance of Mary Poppins, Kate told them, “not on a school night.”

Additionally, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have limited screen time. Prince William and Kate do not believe that their kids should be spending their childhoods in front of various screens, so the siblings generally play together in different ways.

A source shared that Prince William and Kate often promote “toys, outdoor play, and encouraging an active imagination,” especially since both of them grew up without smartphones and tablets.

Prince William recently shared that his family were lambing at Anmer Hall

Prince William and Kate’s children had their half-term break for about two weeks in February. During that time, the family retreated to their country residence, Anmer Hall, for some quality time together away from the hustle and bustle of London.

At an event that Prince William attended, he shared that he and his family spent a portion of their time lambing, which involves helping ewes give birth. He said: “We’ve been lambing with the children this week. Charlotte wasn’t sure at first but George was straight in there. Louie loves the tractors. They love seeing the lambs and feeding the lambs.”

It has been reported that the Cambridge family raises a number of animals at Anmer Hall, though it is not clear whether the lambs in question belonged to them or not. In any case, a person who spoke to Prince William at the recent event revealed that he wants his kids “to see the country way of life as well as the city way of life.”
