How long Ree Drummond and Ladd Drummond have been married

How Ree and Ladd Drummond keep their marriage going strong
Ree and Ladd Drummond have an adorable way of staying connected. They do this by practicing a nightly ritual, according to People magazine. The Pioneer Woman star told People she and Ladd make sure their feet touch when they’re lying in bed. It’s a way for them to reconnect, let each other know things are OK, and that they still support each other:
We don’t go to sleep in each other’s arms—we like our space—but our feet always touch. I know that if our feet touch before we go to sleep at night, we’re not going to bed upset or angry. If we’ve had a little disagreement, as long as our feet touch, it’s all good.
Why Ladd Drummond loves working on the ranch
In a 2018 interview, the host of NCBA’s Cattlemen to Cattlemen asked Ladd how he felt about having the entire family on the ranch and being able to see his kids and work with Ree each day. Ladd responded by saying that being with family is what he enjoys most about working on the ranch:
We truly are blessed. Getting to work with the kids and having Ree around and we’re all on the ranch together. It’s truly just a blessing. That’s what really makes it the most fun about everything, is being able to work with everyone. I work with my brother, my dad. Like a lot of ranching operations, we have a lot of family involved, and that’s probably really the best part about it.
The sweet ‘love letters’ Ladd Drummond sends Ree Drummond
In an Instagram post, Ree shared a video Ladd sent her while riding his horse on their ranch. She told her fans he sometimes sends videos from his workday when the weather is nice. The Food Network star said she thinks of these videos as Ladd’s love letters to her. Here’s what Ree wrote about Ladd’s thoughtful videos:
When a morning of work is especially pretty, Ladd sends me videos from his horse. I love the sights, but I also love the sounds: cows mooing, horseshoes clicking on the creek bed, leather stirrups squeaking, and Ladd’s voice narrating at the end. It’s the best kind of love letter.
