‘The Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond: Find Out Where Alex Drummond Bought Her Wedding Gown
The Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond just can’t contain her excitement about Alex Drummond’s upcoming wedding. Ree’s eldest daughter was recently engaged to her college sweetheart, Mauricio Scott. In her latest blog post, the Food Network star gave her fans a peek inside their hunt for the perfect wedding dress. Find out where Alex bought her wedding gown.
It only took Alex roughly four tries to find the perfect wedding dress
It didn’t take long for Alex to decide on the perfect dress. Ree says Alex knew exactly what she wanted as soon as she tried on the fourth gown (at least she thinks it was the fourth gown). She didn’t want to spoil the surprise by posting a photo of Alex’s dress, but she did say her daughter found the perfect dress.
I can’t show you any more photos right now, but I can tell you that Alex found the perfect wedding dress, and we all loved it unanimously. It was (I believe) the fourth dress she tried on, and we knew almost instantly that it was the one.
In fact, as soon as she ‘said yes to the dress,’ Alex immediately called the other two stores where we had appointments and respectfully canceled, explaining that she’d found the dress and didn’t want to take up their appointment times.Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman blog
Where did Alex Drummond buy her wedding dress?
Ree revealed Alex purchased her wedding dress from Dallas, Texas-based retailer Warren Barrón. The Accidental Country Girl says they had three appointments. Warren Barrón was their first—and last—stop. They were so impressed with the dress selection that they didn’t need to go anywhere else.
“We actually had three appointments scheduled that day,” wrote Ree. “We began at Warren Barrón, a beautiful bridal shop in Dallas. There were plenty of dresses on display, but there weren’t so many that it became visually overwhelming, which is good for my brain. I love choices, but too many choices make me want to take a nap!”
Ree Drummond’s daughters tried on her 1996 wedding dress
Wedding dresses have been top of mind in the Drummond household. Ree posted a photo on Instagram of her youngest daughter, Paige, wearing her dress from her 1996 wedding. Alex also tried on Ree’s dress, but the photo wasn’t posted because she says she wants to “keep the mystery” for the wedding day.
Ree says she will continue to save her wedding dress. She hopes her future granddaughter or goddaughter will be able to wear it when her special day comes. She even joked she might wear her old dress when she and Ladd renew their vows.
“I don’t think the dress will work out for either of my girls, but I’ll save it for a granddaughter or goddaughter or maybe I’ll wear it when Ladd and I renew our vows, just kidding,” posted Ree on Instagram. “I’ve watched enough Real Housewives to know that’s never a good idea. Paige, you look beautiful even though this was just for fun!”
