The Real Reason Chris Pratt Called Katherine Schwarzenegger ‘Super High Maintenance’

Chris Pratt isn’t above having a little fun at his fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger’s expense, as he recently called her “super high maintenance.” It was all adorably harmless enough, as his Instagram post showed off just how down to earth his bride-to-be really is.

Schwarzenegger cuddles a cute friend

One of the bonuses of Pratt’s farm is the many animals that live there. Most notably, a new baby lamb was born on Valentine’s day and Schwarzenegger clearly is in love with the little guy, based on Pratt’s post.

In the pic, his fiancée is seen snuggling up to the little fellow, as Pratt captioned it: “@katherineschwarzenegger rocks the latest trend in fierce accessories. The eggshell wool baby lamb. Super high maintenance but worth it for this fashion icon. #farmlife.”

Pratt shared the happy lamb’s arrival last week

The actor took to Instagram last week to share the good news of the latest animal to join the farm, writing on February 14: “The first lamb of the season arrived on Valentine’s Day. I think we’ll call him Cupid. Good job Mamma! #farmlife #WeBeLambin’ #lambingseason2019.”

Pratt enjoys the farm life

During a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Pratt gave a glimpse into why his farm is such a haven to him, as he called it his “own special slice of heaven,” away from the celebrity scene.

Pratt shared that he has a longhorn, pigs, chickens, and sheep, including a prize-winning ewe, who won the blue ribbon at Fiberpalooza. He told the daytime talk show hosts: “My role in Fallen Kingdom: Jurassic World 2 didn’t get an Oscar nom but my prize-winning Romney sheep took home a blue ribbon at Fiberpalooza. So we’re very happy.”

Have Pratt and Schwarzenegger set a wedding date?

In January, Pratt shared the news of his engagement, captioning a photo that showed off Schwarzenegger’s engagement ring: “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go.”

Of course, fans want to know if the couple have gotten any wedding planning done or set a date to tie the knot. Pratt gave the tiniest hint of their wedding plans when he spoke with Us Weekly earlier this month, saying they haven’t “really” started the planning. As for timing, he shared, “maybe fall, winter kind of thing,” adding, “We’ve got a lot to get done.”

The couple have plans for ‘lots of kids’

Pratt has not only been asked about his upcoming wedding, but also their plans to have a family together. He told Entertainment Tonight in January: “The future? Oh. Lots of kids. Maybe less time spent working, more time spent enjoying life.”

The actor added: “I always want to be that guy that works to live, not lives to work. I think [I want to spend] just a lot of time at the farm and a lot of time catching a lot of fish and seeing lots of sunsets.”
