The Real Reason Drita D’Avanzo From ‘Mob Wives’ and Farrah Abraham From ‘Teen Mom’ Hate Each Other
Reality TV is full of big, clashing personalities — and both Mob Wives and Teen Mom are known for the drama. When it comes to TV stars who have been super polarizing from their first day on set, Farrah Abraham takes the cake. From her early days on 16 and Pregnant to her eventual firing from Teen Mom OG, we’ve watched her diva-like behavior permeate the set. It’s no wonder Drita D’Avanzo, one of the big personalities on Mob Wives, eventually started feuding with Farrah after their first fateful meeting.
Here’s how the feud started, including why they still can’t stand each other.
Drita and Farrah made a joint appearance in Atlantic City

It all started when Drita and Farrah were in the same venue on June 28, 2018. According to In Touch Weekly, the two were attending an event in Atlantic City where they could schmooze, meet, and have dinner with public relationship representatives. Drita allegedly thought Farrah was nice and cool upon first meeting — but Farrah quickly destroyed that illusion when she took to social media after the event.
The publication notes when the event was over, Farrah took to her Instagram story to call Drita a “has been” and unprofessional. Of course, Drita, who’s known for facing conflict head-on, was having none of it. As Drita said in an Instagram video, “I wake up in the morning to hear that you’re ripping me to shreds on your IG. I don’t know who you dealt with in the past, but you got the wrong motherf***er.”
They exchanged harsh words and photos over social media

After Farrah’s initial words and Drita’s retort, the feud was officially on. Us Weekly reports an hour after Drita’s Instagram post, Farrah was coming at her once again — but this time on Twitter. Farrah called her new enemy a “low class trash dusted up nobody,” and then continued with her own threats. “Use me for press haha your a loser go get a real job my lawyer will be contacting you Psycho,” Farrah continued.
Farrah didn’t end it there, either. After her Twitter rant, she posted a photo of herself, a PR representative she was eating dinner with in Atlantic City, and Drita — but Farrah covered Drita’s face with a clown emoji. Above the photo, she added, “Dinner & Atlantic City was fabulous I hope the clown fixes her drug problem & her abusive relationship.”
Not all of Farrah’s fans were quick to support her social media outbursts, however. Many warned that she was messing with the wrong woman, since Drita has been arrested for physically assaulting women in the past. They were also quick to remind the Teen Mom star that she drew first blood by throwing Drita under the bus in the first place.
Drita may have been the reason Farrah pulled out of her celebrity boxing match

This year, Farrah announced she was taking part in a celebrity boxing match to raise money for anti-bullying charities. Her opponent was set to be Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander who’s famous for winning Flavor Flav’s affection in 2006 on Flavor of Love. But before Hoopz was selected as Farrah’s opponent, Farrah considered facing Drita in the ring, People reports.
Farrah later decided Hoopz would be a better opponent, much to the dismay of Drita. “What happened, Farrah? You got scared? Don’t wanna fight? Why not?” Drita taunted. And the Mob Wives star found herself laughing once again when she discovered Farrah had quit the match altogether.
As for why Farrah didn’t participate in the match, she first claimed it was because the promoters didn’t provide her with proper accommodations. But she later announced part of the reason she wasn’t fighting was because Drita was set to be the referee. It disappointed Drita that she wouldn’t get to watch Farrah fight, too. Inquistr notes she said, “I really, truly wanted to witness her get folded in half by ‘Hoopz’. If she got knocked out I was celebrating. I was gonna do a dance and everything.”
