The ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ Cast Has A WhatsApp Group and This Queen’s Already Left the Chat
This tea is piping hot!
Everyone knows that Drag Queens are the best at throwing shade, so when 10 of them are in a group chat together, you already know that drama is bound to go down.
Since their time on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, the cast has been keeping in touch via a WhatsApp group.
Though things were going fine at first, one queen’s already left the chat and we feel like this was her way of throwing a little subtle shade at her fellow Drag Race sisters.
Divina De Campo just spilled the ultimate tea
It seems as though the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK has even more drama behind the scenes than what we witnessed on the show.
Just one week after the UK’s first-ever Drag Superstar was crowned, queens are now giving fans some insight into their relationship as cast members and hearing drama is what many of us truly live for.
Since their time on the show, the queens have kept in touch via WhatsApp for some occasional kikis and gossiping.
While many of the queens established close bonds with one another during their time on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, there is one queen who isn’t as close with others and Divina Di Campo has the tea.
During a recent interview with Digital Spy, Di Campo, who came in second place, took some time to open up about her Drag Race sisters and share her thoughts on the one contestant who just left their group chat out of the blue.
“Scaredy [Kat]’s already left the WhatsApp group,” she commented. “I keep checking in with her, it’s not that she isn’t contactable to people, but there is so many messages to trawl through.”
Di Campo went on to share that though Scaredy Cat left the group, everyone else makes an effort to stay in the loop.
“Cheryl is very active on the group, she’s gobby isn’t she?” Divina continued. “So, she’s constantly chatting and posting pictures in there. Everybody’s pretty active, I’m like a sleeper.”
“I’m like your mum on Facebook, she doesn’t post anything but she’s always watching and doing a little like here and there,” she added. “I love the fact that we’re all still so close,” she added.
This isn’t the first time a queen has shared what goes down in this group chat
Just like Divina, other queens have opened up about the cast’s group chat but not everyone has had tea to share.
Last month, Sum Ting Wong also sat down with Digital Spy to share just how much she cherishes the queens’ WhatsApp group and revealed what really goes down in the chat.
“We are still [in] one huge WhatsApp group. Before every episode we’re like, ‘Get ready girls,’” Sum Ting said.
“There was never a hatchet to bury. Whenever we saw each other, it was always like, ‘Oh, I can’t wait for you to see what I’ve said about you,’ she continued. “It wasn’t like there was things we said that we didn’t say to their faces, it was always very organic. I love the fact that we’re all still so close.”
Sum Ting then went on to share that despite their little spats on the show every now and again, the cast considers themselves family and they continue to maintain close bonds with one another.
“Everyone is so supportive of each other, I’ve just released my single and all the girls are like, ‘Where can I download it?’, ‘What’s it called?’ It’s called ‘Crossfire’ by the way,” the reality star shamelessly plugged. “They all said how proud they were of me for it. We expect it from the UK but we haven’t seen it on the American one.”
