Most people don’t know this, but Brad Pitt actually got his start on the small screen. His first taste of acting was in the daytime soap opera Another World where he was given a small role back in 1987. He also had a recurring role on the hit TV show Dallas in the 1980s. However, it wasn’t until he appeared in the hit movie Thelma and Louise that people really started to notice him. He may have only had a small part in that film, but his role as a sexy outlaw cowboy made many fans want to know more about this new up-and-coming actor.

After that, he started getting cast in more movies and really started to gain more notoriety when he starred in A River Runs Through It and Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles.

What were some of Brad Pitt’s best roles?

One of the reasons why Brad Pitt’s popularity grew to unimaginable heights is because, throughout the years, he has shown the world that he is truly one of Hollywood’s most versatile actors. Time after time, he has been able to convincingly portray a wide range of characters. His iconic role in the hit movie Ocean’s Eleven allowed the world to see a cool and confident side of him. However, it was his portrayal of a violent and ruthless thug named Tyler Durden in the movie Fight Club that really catapulted his career to where it is today.

What film has Brad Pitt most recently starred in?

In 2009, fans got to see a side of Brad Pitt that they had never seen before when he played a ruthless, redneck, Nazi-killing squad leader named Lt. Aldo Raine in Quentin Tarantino’s WWII film Inglorious Basterds. Apparently, he enjoyed working with the high-profile director so much that ten years later, when the opportunity arose to work with him again, Pitt was more than willing.

This year, Pitt stars in the Quentin Tarantino-directed film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. In this movie, Pitt stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio as the pair try to navigate their way through the entertainment industry in the year 1969. The movie hits theaters this weekend and is already promising to be one of Brad Pitt’s most captivating roles yet.

Is this our last time to see Brad Pitt on the big screen?

In addition to starring in the newest Quentin Tarantino movie, Pitt is also starring in another movie that is set to come out in theaters in September. The movie, Ad Astra, will feature Pitt playing the role of an astronaut that bravely travels to outer space in search of his father and also to find answers that could impact the entire human race.

However, after that, Pitt’s acting career may be slowing down. According to Page Six, there is a good chance that, in the future, we will not be seeing Pitt on the big screen as much as we have in the past. In an interview, he had said that he feels that the industry is evolving and he is getting older. He feels that there are fewer roles for older actors nowadays.

“I really believe that overall it is a younger man’s game – not that there aren’t substantial parts for older characters – I just feel, the game itself, it’ll move on naturally. There will be a natural selection to it all,” Pitt said.

He had also said that he did not plan on leaving the entertainment industry completely. Instead, he would now be working more behind the camera and focusing on the production side of film making.
