The 3 Singers on ‘The Voice’ Who Could Win Season 11
The Voice is really heating up now that the decision on who stays and who goes is in America’s hands. The show started off with many promising singers and now it has been narrowed down to the show’s strongest. Given what contestants are left, who is most likely to win? Well to answer that question you would have to consider what the judges have said, the singers’ popularity, and their talent. Here are the three singers that could win it all this season of The Voice.
1. Billy Gilman
The singer has definitely been a front runner from the very beginning. He auditioned with the song, “When We Were Young” which showed off his country roots along with his impressive voice. Since then he has pretty much been dominating the show. This could be due to his experience in the industry.
At only 11-years-old, he came out with a debut single called “One Voice” that led to him being the youngest person to have a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The song was also nominated for a Grammy and he ended up coming out with two more albums. Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus were both very aware of who he was from the start. It would certainly be a great success story if he won, which is probably part of the reason why he has a devoted following.
However, even if he wasn’t a child star, chances are people would notice his talent on the show. He’s certainly not the flashiest contestant on The Voice, but he has been able to bring down the house with performances like “Crying.” He can effortlessly build up a song and hold it at its peak to create a wonderful moment.
2. Wé McDonald
The young singer will definitely catch you off guard since her speaking voice is so different from her deep singing voice. The show is called The Voice, so the contestants with shocking voices are often those who go the farthest. Wé started off singing songs that worked with her powerhouse voice, like “Feeling Good.” Along the way she has made some interesting song choices, which keeps the audience and coaches on their toes like her performance of Hozier’s “Take Me To Church.” If she keeps this up, then she could have an easy win.
3. Christian Cuevas
He sang his way into many people’s hearts including Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine’s with his audition of “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You.” His personality always shines through when he’s on stage. That has paid off since he is one of the most popular singers when it comes to views on YouTube. As long as he continues to be smart with his song choices, then he could maybe sneak in and take this thing from the other competitors.
