Ever since the Southern Charm crew shipped off for a mini-vacation to Colorado, the drama has been unstoppable. But then again, that’s how Southern Charm fans like it, right? Personalities clashed almost immediately when the group set out. Craig Conover and Chelsea Meissner got into an especially nasty fight on the bus before departure, and Kathryn Dennis wound up feeling alienated from the cast when they went out for a weed-based feast.
However, the most explosively dramatic and shocking fight was between Shep Rose and Madison LeCroy. It seems LeCroy really wanted to paint Rose in a bad light, because she wound up spilling some beans she was definitely not meant to — she claimed Rose spread an STD to Baird. Now, the cast is dishing on the rumor, and LeCroy’s choice to air someone else’s dirty laundry.
Madison LeCroy tells all
Before the Southern Charm crew could step in, Shep Rose and Madison LeCroy got into yet another one of their infamous spats. Unfortunately, this particular fight took a quick turn for the ugly. Seeing a chance to really put Shep Rose’s foot in his own mouth, LeCroy took the field with an eye for offense, letting out a rumor she’d heard from Austen Kroll.
“You don’t f****** scare me. You’re a bully … You want to know facts? I heard you gave her chlamydia. That’s what I heard,” said LeCroy of Danni Baird, who was sitting nearby. “That’s a fact … Ask Austen.”
Shep Rose and Danni Baird immediately jumped to their own defense, denying it vehemently. Rose told LeCroy it wasn’t true, and she replied, “Well if it’s not true, that’s fine.”
Rose wasn’t having it, however. He shot back, “It’s not fine. I don’t understand you. What’s the anger come from? … And Austen told you? So now you’ve thrown him under the bus. You’re a tornado. You just hurt three people, or tried to. Was it worth it?”
Baird seemed to feel similarly, adding, “If you want to hurt him, that’s fine. But why the hell would you just do that to me? You truly don’t know what you’re talking about, and you are hurting people who shouldn’t be hurt. I’m on your team, so why the f*** are you acting like this?”
Shep Rose says she’ll do anything to win
According to Rose, this is just part of who the Southern Charm star is. During the Southern Charm After Show, Rose implied that when it comes to winning an argument, LeCroy will do whatever it takes, at seemingly any cost.
“There always has to be an enemy with her,” said Rose. He added, “She said some really harmful things, and said that Austen told her them. Again, she’d rather burn the city than bow out.”
Danni Baird agreed, saying, “She operates out of spite. And any way she can pull like, somebody else in it at that time, or if she thinks she has ammunition and it may include an innocent victim, she’ll say it. It doesn’t matter if it’s true.”
The castmates dish
Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis seemed to appreciate LeCroy’s willingness to stand up to Rose. According to her, it’s a rare occasion when one of the cast members does.
“I don’t know anyone who really has. No one ever stands up to Shep because he will try to turn everyone against you and use his words to shut you down in an argument by confusing you. It’s like, Shep expects you not to respond,” explained Dennis.
“It was an attack,” explained Craig Conover during the Southern Charm After Show. “Instead of discussing what was going on [LeCroy] attacked with something that was just so not related. She was throwing her boyfriend under the bus, she was throwing everyone under the bus.”
Meanwhile, Danni Baird is still feeling particularly hurt by LeCroy’s seeming willingness to throw her out into the cold just to win an argument. “It’s gonna be hard for me to even look at either of them. I’m still very betrayed. I am very hurt. I feel as though I’ve seen their true colors, and no thanks,” said Baird.
