‘The Talk’: What Is Carrie Ann Inaba’s Net Worth?

Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba officially has a new gig! The dancer/choreographer has replaced Julie Chen on the long-running CBS daytime talk show, The Talk. Inaba is certainly no stranger to the small screen. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii — Inaba hit it big when she came to the mainland and became one of the Fly Girls on the acclaimed sketch comedy show In Living Color alongside Jennifer Lopez. From there, she went on to tour with everyone from Madonna to David Bowie

Since 2005, Inaba has been a judge on the beloved dance competition show, Dancing with the Stars and now with her role on The Talk –the Showgirls dancer’s schedule is about to get even more packed. With a legacy in the entertainment industry that has expanded thirty years, what is Carrie Ann Inaba’s net worth today?

Carrie Ann Inaba is worth $9 million

Though Inaba has worked tirelessly in the entertainment industry appearing in movies like Austin Powers in Goldmember and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and as a guest host on shows like The View, Live With Kelly and Access Hollywood Live– much of her wealth has been accumulated through her work as a judge on Dancing with the Stars. Inaba has been a full-time judge on the series for almost 15 years and as it’s gotten increasingly more popular –the UCLA graduate’s salary has also increased.

Though we don’t know the exact terms and conditions of Inaba’s salary, we do know that she is rumored to make upwards of $1.2 million per season. Now with her new gig at The Talk, Inaba will be earning another salary from a completely different network further expanding her already plush net worth.

Making moves on The Talk

When discussing her judging techniques, Prevention Magazine once called Inaba “warm, cheerful, and empathetic” which is why we think she’ll fit in seamlessly with the ladies on The Talk. Since she’s already guest-hosted serval episodes on the talk show, it already feels like Inaba has been there forever. She was so impressive that even Julie Chen– the former host that she replaced had to give her props on her charming nature and thoughtful commentary. In her goodbye message from the series, Chen reference the Dancing with the Stars judge saying, “You’d look awfully good sitting in that chair, my Asian sister.”

Inaba has been a guest judge on The Talk for the past two years, filling in when one of the five women were unavailable. Now with Julie Chen leaving the show due to multiple sexual misconduct allegations against her husband, former chairman-CEO of CBS Corp Leslie Moonves, Inaba is stepping up.

If you’re wondering if Inaba will appear on DWTS in the fall of 2019 for Season 28 don’t fret –she’s not putting down her sparkly judge’s panel anytime soon.
