Who will fill in for Meghan McCain when she exits?

McCain is an important element for The View’s success as she provides a conservative perspective. When the co-host goes on maternity leave she will be sorely missed by fans that tune in to get her viewpoint. However, producers have thought of what will happen to her seat in McCain’s absence.

“Will have a lot of good guests on the show and maybe a couple of surprise guest hosts,” producer Brian Teta said according to Deadline. “We have every viewpoint accounted for, including the conservative side.”

What is not clear as of yet is when McCain is planning on leaving and coming back to the show.
