Meghan McCain is generally one of the most outspoken panelists on The View. The conservative co-host always has a lot to say when it comes to the political topics the show tackles on. McCain is passionate about her beliefs and defends her viewpoint from her fellow co-hosts. Those debates have led to heated arguments, especially with Joy Behar, but there’s one topic McCain shy’s away from meddling in.
The topic that McCain show’s that she’s uncomfortable talking about is sex. There have been numerous times that the ladies take on topics of sexual nature that the Republican does not partake in. McCain is usually engaged in the conversation when it comes to politics, but take on sex and she sits there in silence.
Last week, Abby Huntsman talked about an incident that happened at her home that she wasn’t too comfortable with revealing what it was.
“The other night I literally… that’s too gross, I won’t tell the story,” Huntsman said before retracting her thought. She then teased by saying, “I found something on the floor that you should never find on your floor. It took me a minute to realize what it was.”
Fellow co-host, Ana Navarro, weighed-in with a raunchy joke saying, “You got three kids, so it obviously wasn’t a used condom.”
When Behar noticed that McCain was uncomfortable she asked if she had anything to add.
“Nah, I’m good,” she said annoyed. “Used condom is really, really fine…”
Joy Behar and pornographic podcasts
The ladies tackled on another sexual topic on The View. Behar brought up the idea that podcasts of pornographic nature have been becoming more popular.
“You know, I always said that if I could do porn it would be like porn for the…,” Behar started saying as McCain is heard saying, “Ugh, oh God!”
McCain did not add much to the conversation and some fans noticed she was extra silent during this topic.
“Meghan McCain acted like a prudish little farm girl when Joy and the others were talking about sex,” another fan noticed.
Do Meghan McCain and Joy Behar get along?
There have been rumors that McCain and Behar do not have a friendship outside of the show. The former denied the allegations and says they are actually close.
“It really hurts my feelings!” McCain told Entertainment Tonight. “It genuinely hurts my feelings because our dressing rooms are next door to each other and you and I have the same emotional reaction to things — sometimes in different ways — but we’re both upset equally, the equal amount of the same things. And I wish people would give us a break, for real.”
In fact, McCain loves sparring on-air with Behar so much, that when she’s not there, it’s hard for her to go through the show.
“I really enjoy being friends with you. You’re really funny, you always make me laugh on the show. I’m really, sincerely very grateful that you’re on the show with me and you have all the answers,” McCain told Behar during the same interview.
The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET and 10 a.m. CT/PT on ABC.
