‘The Voice’: Adam Levine’s Wife, Behati Prinsloo Says He’s Excited After Quitting the Show
The Voice is going through a huge change with Adam Levine leaving and getting replaced by Gwen Stefani. He has released a statement since this announcement but hasn’t really talked about his reason or feelings about it.
Behati Prinsloo has talked about Levine’s feelings after leaving the show. Find out what she said and more about the change.
Adam Levine left The Voice and will be replaced with Gwen Stefani
Levine has been on The Voice since Season 1 so it’s a big change that he decided to leave. He made a statement on Instagram thanking those behind the show and said goodbye to those who he is leaving behind.
The caption reads, “And, BLAKE F*CKIN’ SHELTON. I couldn’t hide my love for you if I tried. Seriously. I tried. Can’t do it. Our friendship is and always will be one for the books. Whatever this whole surreal experience was, Im just happy I got to experience it with you. You’re my brother for life. Kelly [Clarkson] and John [Legend], take care of the cowboy and I’m sure I’ll be back to say hi very very soon. So much love to you both.”
Stefani said Levine was the first to talk to her about doing the show
Many people were shocked about Levine leaving. That included Stefani who is replacing him.
“I have not even posted, I haven’t talked about it yet, because it was such a shock,” she said according to People. “And, Adam’s actually the first person to reach out to me when they were trying to pitch me the show, he texted me out of nowhere, and I didn’t even really know him.”
She says that she’s happy for him making this decision. “I’m happy for Adam because he’s been doing it 16 seasons,” said Stefani. “He has his babies. He’s going to be able to go on tour and do music in a different kind of way.”
Behati Prinsloo said Levine is excited to have nothing to do
The singer will have more of a break without coaching on the show. Prinsloo talked about his feelings about that.
“Good news for me, good news for the kids,” she said on the Today show. “He is on tour at the moment. He is excited to get home and for the first time have nothing to do. I’m like, ‘What am I going to do with him?”
Other coaches talked about Levine’s reason for leaving. “It was kind of a shocking thing,” Kelly Clarkson said. “But I kind of get it. He’s been doing it for eight years — that’s a long time. He’s got a couple kids. Still has a career. Still touring. It’s a very rigorous schedule fitting everything in.”
She continued with “It’ll be weird going to work. ‘Where’s Adam?’ But I totally get how busy it is trying to fit everything in plus having a family.”
It sounds like the change will be a big adjustment for those on The Voice, but also for Levine’s family.
