‘The Voice’: The 1 Reason Why Adam Levine Actually Wants Another Coach to Win Season 14
Adam Levine is still trying hard to win Season 14 of The Voice. But he also has a fellow coach that he is rooting for this season. This season’s coaches have made headlines because of the addition of Kelly Clarkson. Along the way, there were some stumbles, but Clarkson has proved to be a good addition to the show.
So what is the latest going on with Levine and who will be back next season? He has been talking a lot lately about the show and his personal life. Here are seven things to know, including the one reason he wants another coach to win this season.
1. Adam Levine said The Voice helped him become a parent
The coach has been on the show since the very beginning and has changed a lot since then. The lead singer revealed that the series actually was a part of that.
“I wasn’t a parent before I did [The Voice,]” he told ET. “I didn’t have a wife. I was just a loose cannon, living in L.A., being crazy. I think The Voice was one of the first times that I had a platform where I could help people out or play a role [as] a mentor. So, it did help me, indirectly, in what inevitably became being a parent, for sure.”
He further talked about mentoring, saying, “You realize you have things you can share with other people.” He said, “It’s not so much paternal, [but] you realize your whole life you’ve lived up to this point, you now have things you can reflect on and help people. That’s cool. I think that helps with parenting, somehow.”

“Awesome. Girls are better than boys,” he told ET. “I didn’t think I was going to [love fathering daughters,] but I love it. I always knew it was going to be the way — I knew I was having girls.”

5. Levine admits he’s rooting for Clarkson
If Levine doesn’t win, it seems like there is one other person he’s OK with winning.
“I kind of, in a weird way, wouldn’t mind if Kelly Clarkson won. First of all, I love her to pieces — don’t you love her so much?” he asked. “It’d be cool if she kind of came in first season and just like, boom. That’s what I did.”
