Henry Cavill has made it big in movies like Mission: Impossible Fallout and Justice League. Now he’s moving onto Netflix by playing Geralt of Rivia in the television adaptation of The Witcher. The actor seems pretty excited about his new gig since he shared a slideshow of fan art including what he could look like as the character on Instagram.

The actor shared a closeup of his face with much longer hair and a thick beard. He has many scars on his face and wearing armor. He captioned the fan art with “Had to repost these gems. All of them are from Bosslogic’s account who has such a keen eye and talent for this kind of stuff. There is a capture of emotion and tone skill set there that I haven’t seen often. So, very nicely done mate! Also, it’s pretty cool to see what I would look like as Super Mario, Solid Snake and Geralt!!”

Cavill confirmed that he would be taking the role in another Instagram picture that showed he changed his profile name on Netflix to “Geralt of Rivia” and shared the caption that his mailing address has changed but “Please note, I’m rarely there. Monster slaying being what it is. So, replies will be few and far between, if at all.”

The Witcher started a fantasy novel series by Andrzej Sapkowski which focused on a monster hunter named Geralt of Rivia. The hunter then comes across a sorceress and princess who have a secret which leads to them going on a journey together. It’s still unknown who else will join the cast.

There will be eight episodes for the show’s first season. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is the executive producer and showrunner of the fantasy show. She tweeted about meeting Cavill after the news was released with “He was my first meeting. I didn’t have writers or scripts yet – just a greenlight and a lot of passion. That was four months ago, and I’ve never forgotten the passion he brought. He IS Geralt. He always has been. I’m so thrilled to welcome HENRY CAVILL to the #Witcher family.”

She also seems to be a fan of BossLogic’s fan art because she retweeted the same image. Only time will tell how Cavill will actually look playing the monster hunter.
