While on screen, the Avengers all boast varying dynamics. If you were hoping to see the Avengers who have been romantically involved, this article may not be your cup of tea, as it will solely focus on platonic and healthy friendships. So, let’s get to it.

Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans

Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans are such good pals in real life that romantic conspiracies are consistently resurfacing when it comes to these two. Many fans refuse to believe that there’s nothing more than friendship here; however, both stars, more than once, have confirmed that they are not, have not been, and do not plan to become romantically involved.

Scarlett Johansson even stated, during an interview with Ellen, that she probably knows Chris Evans “too well.” Before working on The Avengers together, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans starred in The Perfect Score back in 2004, so this friendship has been growing for the last 15 years!

Given Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson’s palpable on-screen chemistry, let’s hope the two plan to work together following Avengers: Endgame, as their strong dynamic could likely carry any film to success.

Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans

During almost every stop along their press junket, these two take the opportunity to joke with one another or praise each other. Chris Evans has even stated that he most prefers his scenes with Robert Downey Jr. because their characters often fall on opposing sides of a situation, as is put on full-blast during Civil War. However, in real life, they seem to have a lot more in common.

Downey was the man who convinced Chris Evans to star in Captain America, as the actor was initially hesitant to take on another superhero role, as well as such a public-facing character. Thus, Chris Evans can point to Downey when it comes to giving out thank yous for his successful run with the MCU.

Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch

While the extent of these characters roles in the upcoming movie is still uncertain, given that both cease to be in Infinity War, they are credited on IMDb, and thus they deserve a little recognition.

These two were neighbors in the past, and often hang out together when they’re not on set. Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch met on the set of 2011’s War Horse, before starring in the MCU together, and have been close friends ever since. While the two have not been in many projects together, they frequently reference each other during interviews, and the mutual respect and appreciation existing between the two are self-evident.

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston

If you didn’t already know about the real-life dynamic between these two, just take a minute and go watch a few gag reels from past Thor films. The two are always joking with one another and having a fun time on set.

While the two play enemy brothers (for the most part) on the silver screen, they definitely do not have this relationship in real life. Hemsworth and Hiddleston started their journey together, and with Avengers: Endgame, who knows how they will end it. On a side note, Between Hemsworth and Cumberbatch, Hiddleston must be a pretty fly guy.
