These Photos From Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Royal Wedding Will Take Your Breath Away
It seemed like everyone in the world was anxiously anticipating Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding for months. And when they finally became husband and wife on May 19, 2018, they certainly delivered.
From Markle’s jaw-dropping dress to the look in Harry’s eyes, we can’t get over how gorgeous the entire royal wedding was. While we’re sad it’s over, we at least have photos from Harry and Markle’s big day to obsess over.
These photos from the royal wedding will take your breath away, including our favorite photo of the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex (page 6) and the official photos released by Kensington Palace (page 8).

All eyes were on Markle the second she arrived at her wedding. She stunned in her gown by Givenchy and Queen Elizabeth’s gorgeous tiara.
Her entrance left us in awe with her 16-foot veil trailing behind her, which was “detailed with flowers from all 53 countries in the British Commonwealth,” according to Time.

Markle made history by walking down the aisle by herself to the Quire of St. George’s Chapel. It was the first time any bride made such a bold move in a British royal wedding, according to Elle.
Prince Charles did eventually meet Markle to accompany her for the last steps toward her husband-to-be. The bride’s father, Thomas Markle, was originally set to walk his daughter down the aisle — but unfortunately, a heart surgery kept him from being able to attend the wedding altogether.

When Markle approached Prince Harry at the end of the chapel, it was a gorgeous sight to see. However, our favorite part may be all the young bridesmaids and page boys in tow.
While the chapel and wedding attire were ornate, the children trailing behind Markle made this shot from the wedding seriously adorable.

The internet can’t stop obsessing over the way Harry was looking at Markle throughout the ceremony. When Markle met her prince at the altar, he can be seen telling her, “You look amazing” — and Twitter cannot handle it.
One Twitter user gushed, “My heart. When he said to her ‘you look amazing’ and shyly smiled. My heart. #RoyalWedding.”

At the conclusion of the ceremony, fans knew they had one more thing to be excited for: Harry and Markle’s first kiss as husband and wife. When they emerged from the building to share their highly anticipated kiss, it looked like a scene out of a fairytale.
From the flowers surrounding them to their look of love for one another, our hearts could hardly handle it.

We’re willing to argue that this is the best photo from the entire royal wedding. This is a one-in-a-million type of shot, and Press Association photographer Yui Mok managed to capture it. He shared on Twitter, “I was positioned on the roof of George IV Gateway of Windsor Castle, and they passed directly beneath me during their carriage procession.”
Mok added, “I had less than a one-second window to take that particular shot — whilst having to focus through a metal grill I was standing over — so was happy to get anything really!”
Fans were quick to point out that Harry and Markle seem to be forming the shape of a heart with their bodies in this view from above, somehow making the photo even more perfect.

Harry and Markle delivered even more jaw-dropping looks when they stepped out to head to their wedding reception at Frogmore house.
The new duchess looked sexy yet sophisticated in her Stella McCartney gown, pairing it with Aquazzura heels and an aquamarine ring that was once Princess Diana’s.

Just two days after the royal wedding, Kensington Palace’s shared a few of the official photographs from the royal wedding. They shared this photo of the family to Twitter, writing, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released three official photographs from their Wedding day.”
“These photographs were taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski at Windsor Castle, following the carriage procession. #RoyalWedding,” they also noted.

The second of the photographs shared by Kensington Palace was more of an intimate moment between Harry and Markle. They tweeted along with the photo, “The Duke and Duchess would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their Wedding.”
The post continued, “They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and those who watched on television across the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world.”
