This ’90 Day Fiancé’ Star’s Kids Are Absolutely Ruthless

90 Day Fiancé sees some interesting family dynamics when it comes to the children of those seeking international love. Look no further than Laura Jallali and her son Liam, for a prime example. Alternatively, there’s always Eric Rosenbrook and his daughter, Tasha

Now, it looks like there might be two new little stars on the show. New 90 Day Fiancé participant Michael Jessen is dating a woman almost half his age — and his kids are not letting up. In fact, they’ve been roasting him non-stop.

How the two fell in love

New 90 Day Fiancé couple Michael Jessen, 42, and Juliana Custodio, 23, met in a pretty swanky, high-class setting. In fact, it seems Michael Jessen might have some pretty fancy connections. Jessen met Custodio on a yacht party in Croatia, hosted by his friend. Jessen was quick to mention that there were celebrities involved.

“My fiancée’s name is Juliana. She’s from Goiania, Brazil. Juliana and I met on a big yacht party that a friend of mine was throwing in Croatia. There were a lot of celebrities there,” explained Jessen to People.

Jessen went on to add that he was struck as soon as he saw her. “I remember when I first saw her. She’s beautiful, amazing body — I don’t necessarily believe in love at first sight, but it’s like we were kindred spirits,” he claimed.

But Jessen also wants 90 Day Fiancé fans to know that it’s not just about her body. In fact, Jessen discovered that “she’s funny, she’s thoughtful, she’s smart.”

“When I saw his green eyes and smile, I just melted. I really wanted to talk to him, but I couldn’t speak English at this time,” Custodio said of their first encounter.

Dealing with haters

That being said, Michael Jessen says he’s very aware of what his relationship looks like to other people, especially 90 Day Fiancé fans.

“It’s never bothered me at all because living in it, I understand it. And if I could understand from an outsider’s perspective there would be many judgments that people would leap to and that doesn’t bother me one bit. People are welcome to think, feel what they want to. We’re together, we love each other, it’s very much real,” Jessen told E! News

Jessen added that, when it comes down to it, only Juliana Custodio’s opinion matters. “We’ve made a very big decision to spend the rest of our lives together. The only person I care about when it comes to how they feel about our relationship is Juliana,” he explained.

“Certainly a lot of people might pass judgment. They may think I’m just an old sleazy rich guy going after a young, hot woman. It doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t really care,” added Jessen.

What if the haters are your own kids?

Michael Jessen’s kids, however, might be another story. Jessen has two children at home, daughter CeCe and son Max. The two are young, but they’re not letting up on their dad.

At one point, while out to eat, Max told his father, “She’s closer in age to us than she is to you.” He seemed to be smiling at his own jab. Jessen acknowledged the point with a nod, and replied, “It’s true.”

Max and CeCe had a chance to talk to the camera as well. Max said, “Our dad’s fiancée, who’s from Brazil, is gonna be arriving in America for the first time, and we’re gonna meet her.”

“I was like, a little surprised. I was like, ‘That’s cool,’” said younger CeCe, with a tilt of the head. “I didn’t actually think that like, they would get married.”

“Yeah, me neither,” added Max.

“I thought it would just be, like, boyfriend and girlfriend for a little,” said CeCe.

“And then not boyfriend and girlfriend,” finished Max.

Jessen’s ex-wife was concerned with how Custodio might react to becoming a stepmom. Max laughed and said that she’s “not a stepmom, but more like one of us.”
