This Is How Melania Trump Is Reacting to the Stormy Daniels Drama. Hint: It’s Not Good

Another day, another drama for President Donald Trump and his family. This time, the Commander-in-Chief has been caught up in a scandalous affair with adult-film star, Stormy Daniels. According to Daniels, she and the POTUS engaged in a sexual relationship back in 2006, even though he got married to Melania Trump the year prior.

Apparently, after learning of Daniels’ affair with Trump, Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen paid her $130,000 in hush money to stay quiet about the affair during the 2016 campaign. Now, that the Wall Street Journal has unleashed the story on the media, President Trump is scrambling once more to cover his tracks. However, it looks like first lady Melania Trump isn’t ready to just brush this ordeal under the rug.

Who is Stormy Daniels?

Daniels has made quite the name for herself in the adult film industry. With a whopping net worth of $4 million, the blonde has been working in the business since she was 17 years old, even making an appearance in the film, The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

It looks like Trump’s lawyers are a bit slow to catch up. Before Daniels signed a non-disclosure agreement in the wake of the 2016 Presidential campaign, Daniels gave an exclusive interview about her affair with the president back in 2011. She spoke about their relationship in great detail, including the fact that Trump had one of her DVDs on him and that he didn’t seem to care if anyone found out about the affair.

She recalled, “He didn’t seem worried about it. He was kind of arrogant. It did occur to me, ‘That’s a really stupid move on your part.’ And it’s not like I went around and told anybody. No one ever really knew.”

Though they were newly married and had a newborn son when Trump had his affair with Daniels, it looks like the Republican president couldn’t bother to care about his wife’s feelings.

Daniels remembered, “I mentioned her. I was like, ‘Yeah, what about your wife?’ He goes, ‘Oh, don’t worry about her.’ Quickly, quickly changed the subject.”

When news broke about Daniels pay off, it caught Melania Trump off guard. The first lady was apparently so upset that she abruptly canceled her trip to accompany her husband to Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum.

Instead, Mrs. Trump visited the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. before heading to Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Apparently, skipping the Switzerland trip isn’t the only way Mrs. Trump is showing her ire towards her husband. The Daily Mail is reporting that the first lady has been staying at a D.C. hotel since news of the affair hit the airways.

Next: Blame it on ‘fake news’

Denial runs deep

Apparently, the first lady doesn’t want us to know that she’s been continually humiliated by 45. Instead of shifting the blame to her husband, she’s attacking the media and its supposed “fake news.”

Her spokesperson Stephanie Grisham tweeted, “The laundry list of salacious & flat-out false reporting about Mrs. Trump by tabloid publications & TV shows has seeped into ‘mainstream media’ reporting. She is focused on her family & role as FLOTUS — not the unrealistic scenarios being peddled daily by the fake news.”

OK, ma’am.

Little sympathy

Many are having a hard time mustering up any sympathy for the first lady. Afer all, she has adamantly defended her husband, despite his sexual assault allegations and even when he bragged about “grabbing women by the p**y” on Access Hollywood.

A White House source told The Daily Mail, “It’s been upsetting and humiliating; her relationship with President Trump has become strained.”

Well, we all make our beds, and we’re expected to lay in them.
