To say Khloé Kardashian hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to dating would definitely be an understatement.
The reality star has experienced her fair share of relationships over the years and has had to endure heartbreak more than once.
Although Kardashian continues to give men the benefit of the doubt, her split from Tristan Thompson wasn’t the easiest thing to get over.
While she has moved on with her life since calling it quits from Thompson, Kardashian has her reasons for not jumping back into the dating scene just yet.
Dating is not Kardashian’s main focus at the moment
Khloé Kardashian is no stranger when it comes to dating, but it seems like the reality star is putting a pause on her love life for the time being.
During the latest episode of Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star opened up her highly publicized split from Tristan Thompson and how that has had an affect on her interest in dating again.
Back in February, the world was left in a state of shock after Thompson was spotted getting cozy with Kylie Jenner’s former BFF, Jordyn Woods, during a a house party.
Following the cheating scandal, Kardashian decided to call it quits from Thompson for good and has been focused on her career and being a hands-on mother to their daughter, True, ever since.
Although the reality star has fully embraced the single lifestyle, many fans have wondered if she’ll ever get back into the dating scene?
While Kardashian is continuing to put her love life on hold, she recently shared why she’s not interested in dating just yet.
“I haven’t jumped into dating. I don’t care to date right now. I’m not in a rush for it. I feel so good in my life and I don’t really need much else. So, something that I’m focusing on is just making sure that I process everything,” she expressed during the On Purpose podcast.
While many of us would like to see Kardashian find love again, dating someone new just isn’t on her radar at the moment.
Kardashian is taking time to heal
Despite all of the emotional turmoil Thompson put her through, Kardashian is taking one day at a time as she continues to move on with her life.
Though the scandal was hard for her to process in the beginning, the reality star has come full circle and refuses to dwell on the past.
“I think, especially in my family, we’re good at moving on. We have very big forgiving hearts. We just move on, but we don’t really talk about things that happened, and I don’t really know if that’s healthy or not,” she told Jay Shetty. “For what I went through with my breakup, I forgive Tristan. I don’t think he’s a bad person. I think we all make mistakes, we’re humans. But it’s only going to hurt me if I’m holding onto this anger and playing this victim role.”
Kardashian has learned to look on the brighter side of things and is continuing to show fans that relationships aren’t the only things that bring happiness into your life.
While she isn’t giving up the idea of find love again, it will definitely be a while before Kardashian opens up her heart to someone new.
“I’m making sure I’m healed from that as much as I can… and then don’t distract myself right now,” the reality star said.
