This Star Just Revealed Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s Wedding Date
As you’ve probably heard, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are currently exploring the City of Love, packing on the PDA and serving total #RelationshipGoals. Reports say the couple plan on having their second wedding in France, but the two have (understandably) remained tight-lipped about their big day.
Unfortunately, though, Dr. Phil just blew up their entire spot by revealing the wedding date on social media.
Dr. Phil’s Instagram comment to Sophie Turner told it all
This all started with a post the Game of Thrones actress shared on June 23. The post features a photo of her kissing Jonas in front of the Eiffel Tower alongside a French flag and smirk emoji.
Dr. Phil, who will apparently attend the wedding, seemingly got so excited by the picture that he let some intimate details about the day slip, writing, “Easy now! 1 week to go! Ha! See you at the wedding!”
Dr. Phil met immediate and widespread criticism over the comment, which probably isn’t surprising. In response, fans flooded the post with a series of angry emojis and fiery remarks. “Someone who is a [doctor] but doesn’t follow [confidentiality regulations] obviously wouldn’t know anything about keeping secrets,” one person wrote.
There were already clues suggesting the wedding is imminent
Dr. Phil just appeared to confirm them. One of the main clues suggesting the wedding is happening this week is that several famous faces are in France as of writing.
On June 23, paparazzi spotted Jonas’ sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra taking a stroll around the country.
And Jonas’ good friend Wilmer Valderrama recently posted on social media that he had arrived in France.
So don’t be so mad at Dr. Phil, guys. What do you say?
Some details regarding Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s wedding have already been revealed
“Joe and Sophie want to have a huge party,” one insider said of their upcoming French nuptials. “The decor is going to be sophisticated, but there’ll be some kitschy elements, including a really wild cake. There’ll be a live band, and the Jonas Brothers are expected to take the stage.”
Did you hear that? The Jonas Brothers are performing. (!!!) Iconic.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner officially tied the knot in May
Jonas and Turner got married in a wedding chapel in Las Vegas with only a few friends and family members in attendance. The upcoming ceremony will be a lot more formal (which likely means they’ll actually exchange wedding bands instead of ring pops like last time) and will allow the couple to celebrate with more of their loved ones.
“Marriage is a private thing between two people and I think that’s how it should always be. It’s not about the dress, it’s not about the food. It’s about being husband and wife, and being dedicated to each other forever,” Sophie told PorterEdit magazine.
If only the wedding date had stayed “private,” too. Oh well.
