Tom Brady Says Gisele Bündchen is Psychic, Can Predict Whether He’ll Win the Super Bowl
Tom Brady has always had plenty of good things to say about his wife, Gisele Bündchen. But his praise for her goes beyond her being a caring partner — he actually thinks she can predict when he’ll win the Super Bowl. And according to the New England Patriots quarterback, his wife has never been wrong in her prediction.
Bündchen has been Brady’s biggest fan for the better part of his football career
Brady and Bündchen first met in late 2006, very shortly after he ended his relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. However, only a few weeks into the new couple’s relationship, Brady learned he was expecting a child with Moynahan — and Bündchen stuck by his side, despite the wrench thrown into their relationship. Now, nearly 13 years later, Brady and Bündchen are still going strong. She has been the quarterback’s biggest fan for the majority of his football career, and Brady has admitted that she’s largely responsible for his success as a player.
Bündchen makes Brady do some bizarre pre-game rituals
Brady once said that he listens to everything his wife says when it comes to his career, because she knows what she’s doing. And that includes following the interesting pre-game rituals she asks him to do. She built a small altar for Brady featuring photos of his kids, which he takes to every single game. She also makes him wear a necklace of healing and protective stones before the game to keep him safe. He once said that she asks him use droplets of something she created (he didn’t specify what they contain, but it’s likely calming essential oils or something along those lines) before each game as well.
Brady truly believes his wife can predict when he’ll win the Super Bowl
Perhaps the most bizarre thing about Brady and Bündchen’s relationship is that Bündchen has been able to successfully predict when Brady’s team will win the Super Bowl. He told CBS earlier this year that Bündchen knew that 2014 was going to be her husband’s year. Then, in 2015, she told him his team would not win it all. “In 2015, it was early January and she said, ‘You know how much I love you?’ And I said, ‘Yea,’ and she said, ‘I just want to let you know, this is not going to be your year,’” Brady recalled in the interview. Needless to say, the Patriots lost. But Bündchen supposedly rightfully predicted the team’s 2016 win as well.
A lot of their relationship involves them supporting one another
Brady and Bündchen’s relationship has grown so much because of his football career. Though Bündchen has a successful career of her own in being one of the world’s highest-paid supermodels, she has always supported her husband’s football career and has been there for him through every win and loss. Their family has revolved around the NFL, and it seems Bündchen likes it that way. She often commends him on Instagram for being such a massive supporter of their whole family, so we can only assume that he’s there for Bündchen through all of her big wins in the modeling world, too.
