Tori Spelling Reportedly Joining ‘RHOBH’ Season 11
Tori Spelling might be jumping back into reality TV soon. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum is rumored to be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11. Spelling would not be an official full-time cast member but she would be considered a “friend of” in the upcoming season. An insider is spilling the tea and we have all the details.
How would Tori Spelling fit into the ‘RHOBH’ cast?
The Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen has expressed in the past that integrating a housewife into a show needs to make sense. Cohen recently made a statement after rumors that Caitlyn Jenner was being courted to join the show. The reports also suggested Kris Jenner was being considered to be a housewife and Cohen explained it the best.
“If Caitlyn knew any… Caitlyn must know… You know, the thing about it is Kris was, Kris is good friends with Kyle, like, they are legitimately really good friends. Um, and so, yeah, I know. I just don’t see it,” Cohen said on his SiriusXM show.
Since Caitlyn didn’t have a real friendship with any of the existing RHOBH members, she wouldn’t make sense on the show. However, since Kris has a genuine friendship with OG Kyle Richards, her appearing on the show would be seamless.
A new source is revealing that Spelling would be coming into the RHOBH universe as Richards’ friend.
“Tori Spelling is doing [RHOBH] with her mom, Candy,” the insider told Celeb Magazine. “People who have followed Tori know her relationship with her mom has been contentious for many years. Kathy Hilton – Kyle Richards‘ and Kim Richards‘ sister- is also expected to join, and she has some issues with Candy as well. Tori is expected to join in a similar vein to Kathy – specifically as a friend of the Housewives. Tori is also expected to come on as Kyle’s friend.”
Garcelle Beauvais is confirmed to return
One housewife that is certain to come back to RHOBH Season 11 is Garcelle Beauvais. The star joined the reality series in season 10 and was not sure if she was going to return. Beauvais had made a pact with Denise Richards that entailed only returning if each other did so as well. Since then, Denise confirmed she was moving on from the Bravo franchise.
Beauvais has been a fan favorite since the burst onto the scene and it would’ve been upsetting if she did not continue. Executives at Bravo convinced the co-host of The Real to sign up for another season and hold a diamond once again.
“I am returning to the Housewives, yes,” Garcelle told Entertainment Tonight. “You know, you gotta be a little, a little brave. A little scared. A little ready. I mean, it’s all those things, and I say it with a laugh because I’m ready, but you’re never really ready.”
Beauvais had a couple of second thoughts about wanting to come back as Lisa Rinna warned her about second-season housewives. The latter alleges that the ladies are not as forgiving to first-season stars when they come back.
“That’s what I’m afraid of,” Beauvais said of Rinna’s warning. “So, here we go, you know? And I sorta got a warning from Ms. Rinna, so we’ll see. I’m ready though, bring it.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to start filming soon and start airing in the first quarter of 2021 on Bravo.
