Tristan Thompson Is ‘Adamant’ About Making His Relationship With Khloé Kardashian Work Amid His Move To Boston

For the past several months, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have practically spent every waking moment together with their daughter, True. However, with Thompson recently signing a deal to play for the Boston Celtics, he will soon be heading to the east coast, leaving the reality star of his little girl behind in California.

But despite his big move, Thompson refuses to let the distance between him and Kardashian affect their recently rekindled relationship as he reportedly plans to do whatever it takes to keep their romance intact.

Khloé Kardashian has decided to stay in California while Tristan Thompson lives in Boston

In case you haven’t heard, Thompson recently agreed to a deal with the Boston Celtics after nine seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers. According to Yahoo Sports, the deal is reportedly for $19 million and locks him in for two years.

With the NBA season set to star in December 2020, Thompson will be moving to Massachusetts, which means that he will soon be thousands of miles away from Kardashian and his daughter, True.

Though Kardashian is happy about her beau’s new deal and is giving him her full support in this new chapter of his career, she does not plan to follow him to the east coast.

Instead, the Good American founder will remain in California with their daughter. However, she does plan on making “extended visits” Boston to support Thompson at his games — that is, if COVID and their schedules allow them to.

“True has her routine, her family and especially all of her beloved cousins in L.A. … and both Khloe and Tristan don’t want to take that away from her,” a source tells TMZ.

Tristan Thompson really wants to keep the good thing he has with Khloé Kardashian going

Not only do they plan on remaining dedicated co-parents to True while living in two different states, Kardashian and Thompson are also looking to make a long-distance relationship work, especially since they just rekindled their romance.

According to HollywoodLife, the NBA player is “adamant” about keeping his relationship with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star intact amid his move to Boston.

“Tristan is not going to let his zip code determine his relationship with Khloe,” a source recently told the outlet. “He’s adamant that he will continue to fight for her and he will continue to spend all the time he possibly can with her and True. He’s excited about the idea of playing again, but that doesn’t mean it will be easy to be away from Khloé and True.”

Thompson is so serious about making things work with the Good American founder that he’s even vowed to do whatever it takes not to let his big move make any changes to their budding romance.

“Having all this time together has been such a blessing, he will definitely miss them,” the insider continued. “But he’s vowed not to let the distance change anything. Tristan wants to be near Khloé and wants to be near True, he really wants to make it work.”

Although he will be far from Kardashian and True, hopefully, Thompson will stick to his word and continue to be there for them while furthering his career in Boston.
