Tristan Thompson Bought A $6.5 Million Mansion 25 Minutes From Khloe Kardashian
Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian have been making headlines again with the season finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians recently airing, which details the cheating scandal between Thompson and Kardashian family friend Jordyn Woods.
The couple split about 10 months after it first came out that Thompson had been unfaithful to Kardashian with multiple women while she was pregnant.
Today, Kardashian is in a much better place than when the finale episodes were being filmed.
“Life is about ups and downs and I don’t think I planned—obviously, I didn’t plan for any of this to happen—but the beauty is that we can survive anything in life and it’s about a strong mindset and a good support system,” Kardashian recently told E! News. “Life is great so you just gotta find the beauty in it.”
Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian plan on co-parenting True
Though Thompson and Kardashian are officially no longer together, the two are going to do their best to co-parent their baby daughter True.
“She has moved past all of her drama with him,” a source told Us Weekly. “They are still co-parenting and she doesn’t have ill will towards Tristan. Khloe is so happy with True it’s like nothing else matters.”
Kardashian has spoken out on Twitter about keeping her relationship with Thompson cordial, at a minimum.
“He is a good dad to her,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wrote to a fan on Twitter in March. “My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that.”
A look at Tristan Thompson’s new California mansion
Thompson just bought a $6.5 million mansion in Encino, California, which is about 25 minutes away from Calabasas, California, where True lives with Kardashian. Thompson’s new purchase seems to be in line with the former couple’s co-parenting goals.
Thompson’s new home has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and measures up to 9,864 square feet. According to Us Weekly, the gated property was purchased on May 24. The grounds feature an in-ground pool, marble patio, large deck, oversized spa, outdoor kitchen, and bar.
Inside, the home features multiple fireplaces, vaulted ceilings, and a custom wine cellar.
In addition to his new California home, Thompson still owns his five bedroom, six bath, 6,424 square foot home in Cleveland, where he plays for the Cavaliers. The Canadian native basketball player is on track to become an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
