April marks the beginning of spring and the promise of summer. It also signals season wrap-ups for some popular TV shows, leaving us to say goodbye to a number of our favorites. Here’s a list of TV finales to stay tuned in for in April and what you can expect to happen. Needless to say, there are spoilers ahead.

Twisted, Cougar Town

Tuesday, April 1

Twisted on ABC Family: “A Tale of Two Confessions,” the Season 2 finale, had Kyle’s investigation take a pretty crazy turn. Jo, Danny, and Charlie’s love triangle came to an end, and more of Vikram’s secrets provided some problems for the Masterson family.

Cougar Town on TBS: Season 5 of Cougar Town ends with Tom choosing the next group vacation after winning Cul-de-Sac Crew Trivia. Jules gets called out for pretending to be healthy, and Bobby and Grayson sign up for a break-dancing contest.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

Thursday, April 3

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland on ABC: In the series finale, the good guys take on Jafar and come out victorious. Amara sacrifices herself to defeat Jafar, according to Zap2it, and when Jafar steals the water from the Well of Wonders that was inside Amara, the guardian of the well curses him into his own bottle.

Raising Hope

Friday, April 4

Raising Hope on Fox: This is the end of the line for the Fox sitcom, which lasted four seasons. During the hourlong finale, Virginia got a promotion and her dad returned with a surprise (Hint: it involves a wedding.)

Shameless, House of Lies

Sunday, April 6

Shameless on Showtime: The Season 4 finale, “Lazarus,” ends with Sheila fighting for custody of the Native American kids. She also clashes with Sammi over where they will all live once Frank is released. Luckily, Fiona pulls it together some and lands a job at Patsy’s Pies after passing her drug test. Sticking to his character, Frank begins to transition back to his troubled self.

House of Lies on Showtime: “Joshua,” the Season 3 finale, involved Kaan and Associates surprising Marty with a serious legal blow while Jeannie tried to find a solution to the situation.

Bitten, Being Human, Lost Girl

Monday, April 7

Bitten on Syfy: “Elena returns to Stonehaven and her Pack after learning the truth about Clay’s role in her werewolf origins. Reunited, they ready themselves for an epic war against the Mutt army led by Santos and the mysterious James Williams,” writes Amanda Remling in an International Business Times article.

Being Human on Syfy: This is the last show for the four season-long Syfy series. The finale will find Sally making a huge sacrifice to keep her vision of Aidan killing Josh from coming true. And Aidan’s life is changed forever as he fights to destroy the house’s evil spirit.

Lost Girl on Syfy: Bo will struggle with the toughest decision of her life. The finale has her resorting to some pretty desperate measures to stop evil from taking over the world.


Tuesday, April 8

Justified on FX: Raylan will be targeting an assassin as Boyd finds himself in a bind in the Season 5 finale.

Suits, Under The Gun

Thursday, April 10

Suits on USA: Remling writes: “Harvey and Mike clash with a tenacious U.S. attorney. Elsewhere, Scottie and Harvey struggle to reach a compromise, and Mike and Rachel have different ideas about the future.”

Under The Gunn on Lifetime: The final designers have three days to create their collections and present them in a runway show.

The Neighbours

Friday, April 11

The Neighbors on ABC: In the Season 2 finale, Larry discovers he’s pregnant and is faced with a major decision. Should he stay on Earth or return to Zabvron?

Ripper Street

Saturday, April 12

Ripper Street on BBC America: Three corpses are found in the finale. And all three were involved in Duggan’s development plans, writes Remling.

Community, The Crazy Ones, Scandal, Parenthood

Thursday, April 17

Community on NBC: In the Season 5 finale, the group learns about Greendale’s first dean and heads out on a mission to find his old computer lab.

The Crazy Ones on CBS: The CBS series will be airing a special hourlong finale.

Scandal on ABC: It’s Election Day during the Season 3 finale. As the candidates battle for votes, Olivia will try to understand Maya’s motives while Charlie makes a shocking movie, according to the International Business Times’ Remling.

Parenthood on NBC: This marks the end of Season 5 for the NBC show. According to TVLine, something will happen in the finale between Julia and Joel that will give viewers some hope about the estranged couple. Haddie is also expected to return in the last episode.

Friday, April 18

Last Man Standing on ABC: This episode marks the conclusion of Season 3.


Sunday, April 20

Lindsay on OWN: The OWN docu-drama on Lindsay Lohan comes to an end. The series offers a glimpse into the life of the 27-year-old actress.


Monday, April 21

Archer on FX: The Season 5 conclusion for the American animated television series on the FX network.

Face Off

Tuesday, April 22

Face Off on Syfy: Who will be deemed the winner of this Syfy reality television show? Stay tuned for the Season 6 finale, in which the best prosthetic makeup artist will win.

Parks And Recreation

Thursday, April 24

Parks And Recreation on NBC: Expect big surprises during the ending of Season 6. TVLine writes that cast members are using words such as “bonkers” and “chills” to describe the season finale.
