’90 Day Fiancé’: Jihoon Lee Claims That He and Deavan Clegg Are Friends Amid Child Abuse Allegations
Most 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans know by now that Jihoon Lee and Deavan Clegg are no longer together. They recently announced their breakup and have gone their separate ways. Clegg even got a new boyfriend. But since the breakup, Clegg has accused Lee of some pretty terrible things. But despite all of that, Lee still says that he and Clegg are friends.
What led to Deavan and Jihoon’s breakup?
Clegg and Lee decided to try to go all in with their relationship this season of The Other Way. Clegg attempted to move to Korea to live with Lee permanently. Unfortunately, Lee lied about how much money he made and was not actually able to help support her and her kids in Korea.
Clegg also worried about whether Lee was ready to be a full-time parent after he let her daughter Drascilla run into the street.
Deavan’s accusations against Jihoon
Since the breakup, fans have given Clegg a lot of grief about moving on so quickly. But instead of taking the blame, Clegg claimed that it was actually Lee who wanted nothing to do with her son.
“I hate how everyone thinks I’m taking you away from a certain someone,” she wrote in a now-deleted caption under a picture of their son Taeyang. “When in reality I tried my best, yet that certain someone hasn’t called, texted, or asked about you in weeks. And the little money they gave to you, they asked for back. People are attacking us for a man who attacked us. But the truth always comes out. Seeing someone play victim and pretend and lie…I’m sick of the lies. I’m sick of pretending because I’m scared of a piece of paper. Anyways I’m not keeping my child from a certain person.”
Though she edited the caption to delete everything about Lee, she later accused him of doing terrible things to her and Drascilla.
“You guys don’t know the half of it,” she said in a comment captured by Cinema Blend. “My daughter is healing and I’m healing. Wait till the Tell All I’m tired of this. Something bad happened that can never be forgiven.
“I tried to co-parent but that’s kind of hard to do when the other person has deleted any type of way to get in contact,” she continued. “Also kind of difficult when the only time he contacts you is to call you degrading vile names. He’s told me time and time again he just wants to pretend it didn’t happen and has called me, my son, Drascilla vile things. I’m done I’m sick of the lies I’m sick of pretending it’s OK I’m done.”
Jihoon says he’s still friends with Deavan
Lee and Clegg have reportedly not been invited to the Tell-All event due to the ongoing nature and potential severity of Clegg’s allegations against Lee, according to All About the Tea.
But even still, Lee claims that he and Clegg are on good terms. When he posted a picture of Taeyang with a caption talking about how much he missed his son, fans were quick to comment negative things about Clegg.
“Don’t get me wrong,” Lee responded in a comment captured by ScreenRant. “She will bring him to Korea to show me. She and I are friends and parents.”
So, maybe Clegg and Lee have come to some kind of agreement.
