‘The Bachelor’: Which Girls Can We Expect to See on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’

Tonight, we will finally get to see the dramatic conclusion of Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. A lot of fans are wondering if Cassie Randolph will take the Bachelor back after breaking up with him or if the former football player will end up just as alone as when he started his journey. But, the real question here is which of the rest of the girls will we see on Bachelor in Paradise?

Yes, we are invested in Underwood’s love story, but more importantly, we are committed to the drama that unfolds every year on the beach when former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants come together for another shot at love. So, who can we expect to see this year?

Demi Burnett

We love queens who stan each other

Early on in the season, Burnett began to be painted as the villain who we loved to hate. She’s quick-witted and unabashedly herself. The girl screamed that she was promiscuous on live television. How much more honest could she get?

Her openess and ability to go after what she wants, no matter who is in the way, make her a great candidate to go on Bachelor in Paradise. Not to mention, Chris Harrison basically told us that she’d be going on the show on The Women Tell All special.

“You’re definitely a fun spirit to have,” he told her that night. “Something tells me we’ll probably see you again somewhere.” Could that somewhere be paradise?

In addition to her spunkiness, her eagerness to find love makes her a great candidate for BIP.

“It opened me up to like who I am even more,” she told Harrison of being on the show. “It showed me that it’s okay to be Demi. I know who I am and I know that I’m a badass. And there are amazing guys out there and I will find someone one day.”

Elyse Dehlbom

Though Dehlbom wasn’t on the show for very long, she definitely left her mark on the season. She was the first one to send herself home and take herself out of the running to be with Underwood. She left because she felt like she wasn’t a priority in the relationship.

“I want the time and attention that a relationship deserves,” she said to him as she prepared to leave. “I literally can’t accept a proposal after a few months of sharing your time and attention with other people. I can’t do it.”

Her story on The Bachelor ended abruptly, but according to Robert Mills, ABC’s Senior Vice President of Alternative Series, Specials & Late-Night Programming, it may not be the last that we see of the red head.

“The way Elyse left was so fascinating, she’s someone where I’d love to continue her story on Bachelor in Paradise,” he told Lauren Zima of Entertainment Tonight in an interview.

Never taking a moment for granted

Adams made it to the final three but eventually was heart broken in one of the most dramatic breakup scenes of the season. Though drama may be hard on the heart, it’s great for ratings and people who go through traumatic situations on the show are more likely to get cast on spin-offs.

The audience at the live finale visibly felt for Adams as she had to rewatch her breakup in front of all of America. And even as she was getting her heart broken, she was able to comfort Underwood through the whole situation.

This girl deserves another chance at love!

Bachelor in Paradise won’t begin filming until the summer, so we will have to wait a few months to find out who officially makes the roster.
