Tyler Cameron Goes Shirtless For His New ‘Gig’ With David Spade
Tyler Cameron may not have gotten the final rose on The Bachelorette, but on Thursday’s episode of Lights Out With David Spade, he did get a new job. Cameron may be known for his modeling, but you’re about to see him in a totally new light (sort of).
What is Tyler Cameron’s new ‘job’?
During a tongue-in-cheek segment on Spade’s show, Cameron revealed he had a little too much time to spare since leaving The Bachelorette. His new “job” as a production assistant is already feeling a little too familiar.
“It’s not bad,” Cameron said regarding the position. “The pay is good; I have my own parking spot and six girls from the staff have already proposed to me….I said no.”
Cameron’s new position did come at a price. Spade already employed a PA named Johnny. PA Johnny walked on set. “Hey, boss,” he said. He then looked to Cameron and added, “Hey, new guy. You look familiar, do I know you from someplace?”
“Maybe,” Cameron said. “Did I pick you up hitchhiking?”
“Probably,” PA Johnny replied. “I don’t have a car. Maybe we have the same modeling agent or something. Are you with Moe Noodleman?”
“Not presently, no,” Cameron said.
Then things took a turn, in the name of Bachelor Nation.
Did Tyler Cameron lose his job as a production assistant?
Spade’s program budget allowed for only one PA to stay,” which meant one of the “employed” PAs had to go. Would it be PA Johnny who confessed he’d had zero marriage proposals that day, or Bachelorette runner-up, Cameron?
“Tyler, the last eight hours you’ve worked here have been, obviously, magical,” Spade said. “I’ll cherish the time we spent together learning how the copier works, but Johnny is sort of family. Johnny the PA, will you accept the rose?”
PA Johnny accepted, with tears in his eyes then asked Cameron if he knew Hannah B before spade said there was a request for Cameron to remove his shirt.
Cameron did not come to play because the shirt came off except, the request wasn’t directed at him. “I’m sorry. I feel so stupid,” Spade said. “That request was for Johnny.”
PA Johnny removed his shirt and the two stood side-by-side though audience cheers. It’s unclear who had more applause, but it’s a toss-up.
What is Tyler Cameron up to these days?
Not only did Cameron turn down an offer to be the next Bachelor, but he also recently told Entertainment Tonight’s Lauren Zima that he and model Gigi Hadid are “just friends,” and he isn’t concerned if people don’t buy it.
“I’m at the point where I don’t really want to talk about my relationships,” Cameron said. “I’ve dated publicly, so… I’m trying to date privately and I’m not in love with anybody right now. I’m in love with myself.”
That aside, he’s also focused on his career, more than dating. “I’ve got some cool campaigns coming out too, so [I’m] excited for that,” he said in the same interview.
“Modeling has been a blessing. I’ve got great people in my corner there that I love working with. I’m so new to that world and that industry. I’m just having fun with it and making a name of myself if I can.”
So Tyler Cameron may not have “won” Hannah B.’s season of The Bachelorette, and he may have been the PA eliminated from Lights Out With David Spade, but he’s still looking up. And again — did you see those abs?
