‘Vanderpump Rules’: Is the Feud Between Lala Kent and Billie Lee over?

Lala Kent is no stranger to arguing with her cast mates on Vanderpump Rules. As a person who never holds their tongue or minces their words, Kent has gotten into more than a few arguments over the course of her time on the show.

This year, the model seemed to take a lot of her anger out on newcomer, Billie Lee.

Where did the tension between Kent and Lee start?

When Lee first came onto the show, she and Kent were friendly, but that quickly changed when Lee started defending James Kennedy, who Kent was no longer friends with.

“Billie is just a very strange person,” Kent once said on The Daily Dish podcast. “I think she likes to stir the pot; I think she’s looking for her five minutes and I gave that to her, so she’s welcome, you know. I say what’s up to her, I tell her she looks chic, ’cause she does, and I always speak the truth. Even if I don’t care for you and you look good, I’ll tell you you look good. But yeah, I don’t have much to say about her; I think she’s an extra on our show and she shows up and does a great job as such.”

The two continued to feud throughout the rest of the season and Lee was even concerned about seeing Kent at the Vanderpump Rules reunion.

“We’re about to film that, and I’m really nervous because she’s really mean,” Lee told Us Weekly prior to filming the reunion. “I’ve heard things that, like … she’s not sorry for any of it and she would do it over and over again.”

“There’s so many children out there that are being bullied by people like her,” Lee continued. “She’s very powerful, and when someone’s powerful and they’re mean, it really hurts. I remember watching back recently how I felt when I went through that and I was really depressed and I feel like I’m in high school again, you know? It’s really weird. It makes me think about all the kids who are out there dealing with insecurities. I’m an insecure person — I have insecurities about my looks — and for her to call me ‘boring to look at,’ there’s just a lot of things that were triggering me, and I’m honestly afraid to confront her.”

Are Lee and Kent friends now?

Fortunately, Lee didn’t have anything to worry about and the two were able to patch things up after the reunion.

“Lala and I are talking, we’re texting,” Lee recently told TooFab. “You know, I have a deep love for her. It’s hard for us because we’re very similar and we like to attack, but she’s been through a lot, and I get it. And you know, at the end of the day, they only show some of the negative parts of her, too. It’s how reality television is.”

And Kent has even helped Lee through some rough times.

“But she’s been there for me,” Lee said. “I had some really dark times where I mentally had some issues where just my mental health wasn’t there, and it brought me back to suicidal thoughts from when I was 16. It was just a really hard time to… I felt like I was in high school all over again. So, it was a lot of triggers. Honestly, she was the one person that was really there for me. Her and Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval really stepped up, so I have a lot of love for her, and, you know, I think that we have a great relationship in the future.”
