‘Vanderpump Rules’: Lala Kent Says Lisa Vanderpump Has a Role In Her Wedding and It’s Adorable
The highly anticipated wedding between Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent and film producer Randall Emmett is fast approaching. And of course, fans of the Bravo reality series are hanging on to every detail, especially the guest list. For now, it seems Kent has something special in mind for a few of her fellow Vanderpump Rules castmates. But will Lisa Vanderpump have a role or be involved in Kent and Emmett’s wedding in any way? Here’s what we know so far.
When will ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star Lala Kent and Randall Emmett get married?
In September 2018, Kent and Emmett got engaged during a romantic getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to celebrate Kent’s 28th birthday.
“I keep looking down at my ring finger. I’m just so happy to say we are officially engaged,” Kent told People at the time. “We are so excited to start planning the rest of our lives together and I’m excited to put as much detail as Randall did in our engagement into our wedding.”
Kent and Emmett then revealed their wedding date in May 2019. And according to People, the Vanderpump Rules star shared the news on her Instagram.
“So anyone that wants me to do anything on April 18, I officially can’t,” Kent said. “Because that’s the day I get to marry my baby!”
So fans can expect Kent and Emmett’s nuptials to take place on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
Is the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ cast invited to Lala Kent’s wedding?
Naturally, fans of Vanderpump Rules are curious to see if the cast will be at Kent’s wedding to Emmett. And when E! News spoke with Scheana Shay and Kristen Doute, it seems like most members of the cast will be invited.
“I think everyone might be invited to that one,” Shay said when asked about Kent and Emmett’s wedding.
“Yeah I’m really excited,” Doute added. “I know Lala is like getting close to the dress. She’s like zoning in on the details … so I’m really excited about Randall and Lala. They’re adorable.”
It appears Kent also invited James Kennedy — who Kent just rekindled a friendship with — and his girlfriend Raquel Leviss. “Everybody from my cast including James Kennedy and Raquel are all included on my guest list,” Kent told Hollywood Life on Nov. 18.
Meanwhile, Kent confirmed some of the women from the Vanderpump Rules cast will be in her wedding party. “I have Katie [Maloney], Stassi [Schroeder] and Brittany [Cartwright],” Kent said. “Those are my little jams.”
But it seems no one from the Bravo reality series will take the title of Maid of Honor. “[My matron of honor] is my best friend from back home that I’ve literally known since I was in the womb,” Kent said.
Lala Kent teases Lisa Vanderpump’s role in her wedding
In September 2019, Kent was asked if Vanderpump will officiate her wedding during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. But don’t get your hopes up anytime soon.
“I’m supposed to be the star of that day,” Kent said. “No!”
However, Kent’s response doesn’t mean Vanderpump isn’t involved. When speaking with Hollywood Life on Nov. 10, Kent admitted she has plans for Vanderpump. However, the reality star remained mum on the details, telling fans to watch Vanderpump Rules to find out.
“Lisa won’t officiate, but you will this season what she will be a part of,” Kent said.
However, Kent spilled a few more details about Vanderpump’s involvement a week later. Still speaking with Hollywood Life on Nov. 18, Kent gave a big hint about Vanderpump’s role.
“All I can tease is that [Lisa] will have my dog in tow,” she said.
Emmett then interjected the interview, joking that his fiancée isn’t very good at keeping things under wraps.
“I just want to say she sucks at secrets,” he said. “We don’t tell her anything, she’s on a need to know basis. We shouldn’t even tell her where the wedding is until an hour before.”
